Well exceeded expectations! Jen was amazing, helped with local recommendations and timings of the places around, clear instructions whenever we communicated an overall excellent experience. Myself and my children spent 3 days here including Christmas Day, when we arrived it was decorated Christmas theme, there were Santa sacks, small Xmas tree, fruit, lollies and even some treats for mum. Absolutely in awe with our stay and our smiles will last a long time. Thank you Maryann and Jen for everything 🌸

Beautiful spot right across from the beach. Quiet and peaceful, just what we needed.

Stunning views and a beautiful property. Came with family for a little weekend holiday and we really relaxed and enjoyed our stay. The house is so well laid out and designed, each bedroom has its own en suite and everyone had their own space to relax. While the weather was not as hot and sunny as we had hoped we still used the pool and spa and also enjoyed the game room. Great place to unwind and relax with family or friends!

This was a great place to crash for a week while we explored Whakatāne and Ohope. Easy, quick beach access. Close to a fun park and just up the road from a surfing spot. Close to hikes and a good market nearby. Good kitchen. Comfortable beds. Fun ping pong table and space to store our bikes.

A comfortable, compact apartment, perfect as a base for a worker. Was welcomed by Paul and given a tour, he and Leigh were friendly and always available to help/ chat / lend their dog for walks on the beach !! Lots of small details have been thought of. I particularly appreciated the well kitted out kitchen. The beach is visible from the kitchen window and accessible by walking down the driveway.

Great house in beautiful surroundings with great host. We really enjoyed our stay while exploring gisborne and the area. We will be happy to spend more time there when we decide to visit gisborne

Perfection…in every way. Great communication and Paul was very responsive and accommodating. The place was a slice of heaven and we will definitely be using it every time we travel to Whakatane. Super close to town, with 180 degree ocean views and very respectful quiet neighbours. 10/10 for anyone looking for an amazing place to relax and unwind. Thanks Paul & Nikita and your lovely pet goat Balaagi.

The place is perfect, amazing views, well kitted out and awesome to stay at. Will be back.
