The guesthouse is in a high-end, quiet residential neighborhood in the heart of LA's Westside. Extremely safe and with ample street parking, it's in walking distance to malls, shops, and restaurants. Ample parking right on the street. Minimal restrictions (street cleaning once a week per side of road). Lots of bus lines within 5-10 minutes walking that can get you to anywhere in LA. About 20 minutes walk to the metro station (light rail to the beach & to downtown). Lots of Ubers within 5 minutes around the clock. This guesthouse is cosy, it is not large (the pictures that were taken by a gifted Airbnb photographer make it look larger than it is.) It is a great space for a couple, and while it can fit up to 5 people, it is a very tight space for 5 adults. It seems to work well for families with kids that want an affordable place to stay in LA, or for 3-5 young people who do not mind crowded accomodation.

Our Venice loft space is on the beach block 80 yards from the boardwalk, five minutes walk from Abbot Kinney Blvd, restaurants and shops. (Feb 2025- The Topanga village and homes were spared from the Palisades fire.) Topanga is a quiet village in the Santa Monica Mountains. Its name means “Where the mountains meet the sea”. We are in an ancient oak forest in beautiful nature just walking distance to Topanga State Park and its hiking trails. It’s only 10 min to the beach/Malibu and 20 min to Santa Monica/Venice or Woodland Hills. The town center with restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops and our library are close.
