Jean fue un anfitrión excepcional. Desde el momento en que llegué, su atención fue impecable. El día que pasé fue hermoso, en gran parte gracias a sus excelentes recomendaciones de la zona, que me permitieron descubrir lugares encantadores que de otra manera no habría encontrado. Su amabilidad genuina y su calidez hicieron que me sintiera muy cómodo y bienvenido. Sin duda, mi experiencia fue tan positiva que me quedé con muchas ganas de regresar. ¡Recomiendo ampliamente su estancia y espero volver!

The location was perfect: it was just outside of town, which is exactly what you want: Panajachel can be loud with all of the cars and exhaust fumes - so you definitely want to stay just outside of town, like this Airbnb. Once we checked in, Gabriel helped order a tuk-tuk, and we got that driver's Whatapp number, and used him all week, which made it feel like we had a private driver on call - highly recommend doing the same; and the tuk tuks were very cheap. We also booked the couple's massage and private boat tour through Gabriel - again, highly recommend doing both. We also had a rental car, and the parking spot was convenient. We ended up not having time to use the hot tub.

We had a great stay at Augustus’ place. Taking the path along the water, it’s 5 min walk to the main pedestrian street of San Marcos. Place was spotless, and the view and entryway patio is awesome. There were some water issues of first days, heat and pressure, we let Augustus know and he was able to resolve quickly. Thanks for a great stay!

Joshua’s home was a paradise getaway. The views of Lake Atitlan from almost every angle were captivating. The architecture of the villa was an art of its own. The house manager & his son were incredibly helpful, gracious, & much appreciated in every way! & what a lovely experience it was to be boat taxied into town and back. Beds were comfortable, home was clean, and kitchen came equipped with anything you could need. We hope to return at some point, a definite recommend.

Our favourite part was the deck surrounded by garden, and a beautiful view of the volcanoes. Location was very peaceful, and only a short tuk tuk ride into town. Daniela and Jessi were super helpful. We had a great stay!

The house, the lake, the views, the staff…all absolutely incredible! The house is ideally located within 5-10 mins walking or quick tuk tuk to San Marcos, and equipped with everything you need - pool, hottub, kayaks, loads of cooking supplies, more than enough towels etc. The rooms were huge, beds comfy and the caretakers available to help with anything and everything. The hosts were super responsive and the chef for hire cooked amazing meals. San Marcos has the cleanest water for swimming, and the national park with cliffs to jump or swim from is just a short walk or kayak away. The entire stay, just like the lake, was magical for our family of 5 (2 adults, 9 yo, two 7 yos) and not one we will ever forget!

The house is very beautiful. A lovely design and filled with beautiful touches and artwork. An amazing view off the veranda, and the gardens are relaxing and full of birds. We all enjoyed the clean pool very much too. Overall it was an amazing place to relax and recharge. There is a walk up to the local village of Santa Clara or tuk tuks to take you up the hill, and the village has a produce market on Saturdays. We also recommend CECAP for great meals with the best view, as well as fair trade traditional handicrafts. It was easy to get a boat at the public dock. It’s probably easiest to arrange your own driver and boat to the private dock as then it’s easy to contact them if they do not turn up or know where to go (problems we had through no fault of the host). Definitely shop in Pana as the shops are very small in Santa Clara. Be aware it was hazy every day for 6 days and apparently this is common in April (or other months too?) because of cane burning. Una estadía maravillosa, perfecta para descansar, lugar tranquilo sin ruidos incómodos. La vista es hermosa, queda como a 15 mins de panajachel y un tuc tuc te cobra 10Q por persona para llevarte. Se puede entrar al lago directamente. Cumplió nuestras expectativas. La comida del restaurante estuvo deliciosa siempre. Gracias!
