This quiet retreat is all at ground level with a private patio. It is wheelchair friendly with wide doorways and no stairs.

The condo is located just over the Neuse River Bridge, on the top floor of an historic (circa 1914) building. The structure was recently restored and offers a unique experience, with enough space to accommodate a family of four, and a location that's just two blocks away from the river. There's also a nice balcony to enjoy the river view and the amazing sunsets over downtown New Bern.

My home is in located on a private, unpaved road, situated directly on the water. It offers a peaceful and private setting with amenities including two zip lines, two rope swings, a boat ramp, and two docks. Guests can enjoy hunting, fishing, boating, jet skiing, or simply relaxing with serene river views. This is a private residence; please treat it with care. Use of the porches, swings, and zip lines is at your own risk. The back deck has no railing to preserve the view. Wi-Fi is excellent

Located only one block from the boat ramp at the Trent River in Pollocksville, NC and nearly halfway between Downtown Historic New Bern and Jacksonville, and only a 1/2 hour from Emerald Isle beaches – Cottage at the Trent is a stand-alone newly-remodeled guest house featuring a stocked kitchen, full bathroom, large loft area for sleeping plus a reading/game area. The unit sleeps 4 – 5 and the property allows for parking trailered boats or RV’s.

Centrally located to Camp Lejeune, MCAS, restaurants, shopping and beaches - 25 miles either north or south of Jacksonville. Whether your trip is for business or pleasure, make sure to keep an eye out for the gator in the backyard creek. Kayakers be mindful if you decide to cruise to the New River as gators have been sighted along that journey. Plenty of sidewalks if you must get a run/walk in before your day begins.
