We had a great stay at Daniel's place for a long ski weekend at Canaan Valley. The town home has plenty of space. Easily sleeps seven with one room ideal for children with a bunk bed and double. Hot tub was hot and clean. Adjacent to Timberline and very short drive to Canaan Valley.

We crashed at Grace's place after two nights of backpacking dolly sods. It was perfect for our needs, with five bedrooms and several bathrooms, a hot tub, gorgeous views, and a 10-minute drive to restaurants in Davis. Grace was very responsive and accommodating. I booked the day of our arrival high on a mountain from the trail and Grace had the place ready within 3 hours, with restaurant recommendations after 2 days of backpacking cuisine.

We loved our spring break stay at Otter's Den and would return in a heartbeat! Our group was two couples, four children (ages 9 months to 8 years) and one dog, and everyone had a great time. The house is perfect for kids -- lots of open space, and an incredible supply of games, puzzles, and books. We appreciated the comfortable beds and extremely well-stocked kitchen -- it was a joy to prepare meals in. The surrounding area has no shortage of beautiful spots, and host Heather gave us excellent recommendations for walks that even the hike-resistant toddlers enjoyed. Heather was generally a perfect host -- extremely responsive, helpful, and kind. She went above and beyond in ensuring we had a good time. We hope to come back next year!

Our stay at Dave and Linna's was wonderful and would go back in a heartbeat. The location is so close to the slopes. They truly have put a special touch into the place as well. The kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom is lovely, and it's very clean. Beautiful touches throughout and thoughtful accessories just in case you might forget a toiletry item or something. Can't wait to make another visit to Timberline and stay here.

10 out of 10! A lovely, clean, and well appointed home. Everything we needed for a relaxing holiday and a great spot to get organized for our backpacking trip. We will definitely return!

We had a wonderful time. Sitting on the porch was so peaceful. Everything was very clean and we loved the antiques throughout the house.

We really loved our stay in this beautiful house with the natural surroundings. It was really nice to have lots of windows and doors to enjoy the natural lighting and the breeze through the trees. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were nicely done and had good counter space and storage for our stay. I loved having the closet and dresser in the primary bedroom, which allowed me to put away my clothes. The furniture and lighting was tasteful and added to our stay. The fireplace and sauna were nice accessories. The EV charger was wonderful for us to have and really made our stay much more convenient. We would 1000% stay here again!

We had a great family ski vacation. The house was a perfect layout for three couples and one child. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was well equipped. We were pleased with the cleanliness when we arrived. We would definitely rent this house if we decide to vacation in Davis again.

What a place! So very clean & so many amenities. Anything you THINK you may need, it's here! Bring your bikes, the trail is MINUTES away & is lovely. We loved reading while sitting in the rockers on the porch & my hubby couldn't WAIT to have a fire in the firepit, next to the river, and wood/matches/lighter are provided. The diner up the street makes a great breakfast. There's a Shop N Save around the corner if you need milk or snacks. We didn't have time to play, but we liked the offer of the board games & table upstairs. Bedding was terrific & I always appreciate having throw blankets around for snuggling on the couch watching TV. I'm a tea drinker & RARELY do airbnb's have tea ( it drives me crazy so I always pack my own!) but this place had a selection of teas AND hot chocolate! Several types of sugar, too! It's an easy drive to Blackwater Falls (watch for the windmills along the way!) & there are lots of cute shops in the small town of Thomas. Already recommending this gem!
