We had the most wonderful stay at The Lookout. A well equipped, beautiful space with amazing views. St James itself is also a lovely spot. We loved looking in the unique shops, having coffees, and feeling so free, we would definitely like go back. Imraan and his family were so friendly and welcoming. Just what we needed after a long stressful journey.

Great place! Loved the pedal boat option. Perhaps not so ideal if you have toddlers because the staircase does not have rails. Minor issue really and other than that we had a good stay.

What a wonderful time we had in Alex’s beautiful Higgovale House with its special atmosphere. A home from home we felt immediately at ease. The tropical gardens give the feeling of being in the midst of the jungle - despite being only minutes from the lively Kloof Street with its many restaurants and coffee shops (wine bar/coffee shop/deli Tamboerswinkel deserves a special mention). We felt very safe at night and enjoyed being able to access Cape Town‘s sights quickly. A highlight was our hike to Lions Head - again only a stone throw away from the house. Alex’s great communication throughout our stay was not surprising, given his friendly welcome and advice and whilst we didn’t stay long enough to get to know her, housekeeper Barbara also seemed very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

A beautifully peaceful spot to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks on the farm, and stargazing from the hot tub. The accommodation was clean and cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bathroom was neat with a large shower.

Spacious apartment with everything we needed. Waking up, opening the curtains and watching the sun rise over the sea, whilst sipping a morning coffee was truly special. He best start to the day. A fantastic base to explore from and it was lovely to come back to and relax at the end of the day, felt very homely.

Merveilleux endroit. Nous avons séjourné qu'une nuit mais on aurait aimé rester plus longtemps. La sérénité du lieu et la proximité avec la nature et les animaux est formidable. Nous avons très bien dormi. Cuisine fonctionnelle avec tout ce qu'il faut. Nous avons eu la chance de voir des springbok et des gnous au petit matin. Merci pour cette magnifique expérience !

We had the most relaxing weekend at Skyroo. Check-in with John was smooth and his walking us around the venue and explaining everything covered all the questions we had before we needed to ask them. The accommodation is exactly as you see it in the pictures, it is just more stunning and tasteful in real life. John was fabulous with his communications when we asked for more firewood and water and it was a pleasure dealing with him. The whole area is beautifully tranquil with nothing but nature to soothe the soul and just enjoy. An absolute gem of a venue that we will be back to visit again. Thank you Kath.

Awesome host, always available to help out if needed. The house is perfect. The views are insane. Everything you can think of is available already at the house. Top quality appliances and more than enough cutlery and crockery. This is the house to book if you want incredible views in a stunning house.

Nathan’s place was the perfect location for our family of four to explore Capetown. The cottage is cosy with all the necessary amenities m, and we felt right at home. Nathan is a friendly and approachable host that made us feel very welcome, and he had a ton of local suggestions and tips on where to visit. The neighbourhood felt very safe and family friendly, there is a lovely playground across the street, and a shopping village/ mall 5 minutes drive- it truly is the perfect location for a short or longer term stay in Capetown and we will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Amazing wooden cottage, I could see only this one in the area as most other houses around were in modern styles. Makes you feel that you are living in a cabin by the sea away from the world, though you have other houses around, the view of the bay and sea is immense. You can watch the sunrise from there and one morning we saw dolphins! The place is spacious and well equipped, the terrace is amazing to spend hours on watching the ocean. We were there between seasons so it wasn’t cold nor hot, it was perfect!

Liebrecht was a great host, very flexible for check in and check out, and the accomodation was beautiful. I highly recommend it! Thanks Liebrecht!

Would 100% recommend Jo’s place for a stay in Cape Town, location is perfect right under table mountain with tonnes of great bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The house itself is stunning, really spacious with great views from the garden. Jo was a fantastic host, always on hand whenever we needed anything and had loads of great recommendations for us. We loved our stay, would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed staying in this house. There were a few challenges during our stay, but the host was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Welcome wine was a nice touch!

I rented the house for my wife, two kids and some friends. We had a very great stay and a good time at the house. Everything was as expected and described by the owners. We had a very good communication with them before and during our stay. They are so lovely and helpful. Restaurants are close, also grocery store and a mall. The beach is just 7 minutes away by car and around 20-35min to downtown depending on traffic. Also once a week the house is cleaned with no extra charge. All together 5 Stars from us! Thank you very much.

Wir waren 13 Nächte zu Gast im wunderschönen Haus von Andrea und Ian und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt! Die beiden Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich, immer gut erreichbar und standen uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Toll war, dass sogar Pooltücher zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Die Lage hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Ein kurzer Spaziergang führt zum schönen, langen Sandstrand, zum Ortskern mit netten Cafés, Restaurants und kleinen Shops geht man etwa 30 Minuten. Kommetjie ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Kap-Provinz. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen. Danke für eure Gastfreundschaft, liebe Andrea und lieber Ian.

Lovely and peaceful with interior space even better than in the photographs. The unit had everything we needed and communication was clear an quick. Good location close to town but away from the crowds. As is clear from the pictures these unites are side-by-side, but they are still very private. (I guess you could have bad luck and a noisy neighbour.) Would definitely recommend.

Tanya was thee absolute best ,a perfect host ,very helpful aswell as her helper ,the place was easy to find and I must say the pictures don’t do it any justice it’s a beautiful place clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our stay ,the pool kept the kids busy as it was so hot ,she even gave us an extra day 🌸I must say she was one of the kindest individuals that have ever hosted me ,I appreciate all she did for myself and my family ..

Wonderful place. Beautiful house, nice interior with a perfect location directly at the beach. We will definitely come back to this place in case we are back in Cape Town.

They are perfects hosts, flexible scheduling. A wonderful and well-maintained home. The house is fully equipped. Great for spending a few days with friends or family.

We had an awesome time at Daniel’s place. The house is spacious and well apportioned and the location is ideal with a short walk to the beach and all the shops / restaurants in Sea Point. House is very well kitted out especially for kids with loads of toys and books to keep the little ones entertained. Ireen was also a god send - she kept the house spotless and also looked after our little one! We’ll definitely be back!

Superb place with a genuine ‘home’ feel to it. Lots of communal space inside and out and a gorgeous garden to enjoy. Tracy is a super host - responsive and shared loads of advice what to do locally. Hout Bay is a 10 min drive.

Die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht um zu entspannen. Der Blick aus dem Schlafzimmer auf den Pool, einfach herrlich morgens so aufzuwachen. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, aber es ist alles nah - der Beach, leckere Restaurants, Supermärkte etc. mit dem Auto ist man auch in 50 min je nach dem wie der Verkehr ist, auch in Kapstadt City Center. Tausend Dank nochmal, das wir im Poolhaus unsere letzten Tage in Südafrika verbringen durften, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder ☺️

This is my second time booking the home it was to be for my baby's gender reveal the 8th March unfortunately God had other plans and I had to bury my child 7th March Gadija was extremely accommodating and extremely sincere she let me have my family over the Friday and the Saturday for the day and assisting with decor drops and food drop offs she's a lovely person and a great host and I'm very appreciative of her for assisting in my time of grief when it was to be one of the happiest moments of my life 🌸
