What a great place to stay in the Florence, AL area! We had plenty of hiking we wanted to accomplish, but the lake house was so cozy and inviting we were a little torn on weather we should just spend a whole day lounging. Beautiful scenery on the TN River. Hiking at Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve was fantastic, and the visit to Dismals Canyon was incredible as well. Thank you for the recommendations!

John and Lori were excellent hosts. Their place was quiet and clean and just a perfect spot to get away. We would definitely recommend this little gem to anyone. It was the perfect location for privacy and conveniently located for going out on the town. Excellent hosts, excellent place. 5 stars from us!

This was the best rental! The photos truly don’t do it justice. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and is very peaceful right on the water. But it’s a quick drive into the surrounding towns for other activities. We all decided we wanted to book this rental again we loved it so much! The host was very helpful and responsive.

I rarely give any type of feedback, but in this case, I’m glad to make an exception! The property was exactly as shown and described. You felt at home as soon as you walked in the door. Cheryl provided extra amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was spotless! Cheryl was very prompt in her communications. Our stay at Bass & Birdie of the Shoals was outstanding!

The property was as described and did not disappoint. We absolutely loved the screened in porch which looked out over the river. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. We had a storm that caused a power failure. Mike and Tracey went above and behond making sure we were comfortable and took great care of us!! We couldn't have asked for better host. We hope to go back and stay again. Highly recommend

Beautiful! We had a great time at this cabin and absolutely loved it! It was fun hiking, and watching the deer from the porch! The owner was very responsive when we messaged him with a question. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable time and had plenty of space for the entire family. We definitely plan on making a return trip in the future.

Stacy's location was amazing! So many options, great outdoor seating areas, view, and so much more. It looked exactly like the photos, was as described, and she was very helpful and accommodating. I look forward to coming back again.

We loved every minute in this home. It is absolutely beautiful inside and out and oh so peaceful. From sunrises with coffee, to sunsets with a glass of wine, the views are exceptional from the home and the dock. We enjoyed fires in the fire pit at night. The master suite is a stunner. And that kitchen! We were sad to leave and sincerely hope we get the chance to stay here again.
