It is a good shopping town with plenty of restaurants, cafes, leisure centre, museums and planetarium. There are ple of parks and forests nearby, for that peaceful walk. Local amenities include 18 hole golf course and driving range, Rossmore Forest park (1.5miles), cinema, leisure centre, a number of pubs and restaurants (4 miles), Glaslough Castle and Equestrian centre (7 miles). There are numerous local lakes for fishing and the Bragan region offers various walking trails.
