We had such a lovely stay at this cottage. Everything was just as pictured in the post. The cottage was very clean and welcoming. Sheila was a great host! She checked in during our stay to make sure we didn’t need anything. The front porch was one of our favorite places to all be together. The rocking chairs were perfect for relaxing after a long day. We definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a home away from home.

The cottage is huge & rooms are large. Older cottage with quaint decorc & function, and a fabulous front porch. Cottage was clean & very comfortable. Kitchen very workable (no dishwasher, no biggie for us)

The cottage was cute and clean, the staff at the Darlington were so nice and the pool was clean and fun for the kids. Loved sitting on the porch and the kids loved the swing but it is a shared front yard. We were lucky and were the only family there so that was nice. When we pulled into the street we were a little shocked at all of the abandoned motels and it made us nervous at first with our young kids but it ended up being fine! We thought we were staying in North Myrtle Beach which is where everyone recommended but this is Central Myrtle Beach, close to South Myrtle Beach. A lot of things to do and close by! Wicked Tuna is right there and is delicious. We had a great time and it was so relaxing.
