Juli 2021This was our first Air B&B experience and I’m not sure it went well. I wasn’t happy that the pictures of the air b&b were NOT the same studio I rented. I’m not sure if there was a disclaimer for this, but I will be definitely going back to double check. There were a few little things that I wasn’t happy with, but nothing beats being accused of taking a blanket. The apartment wasn’t the cleanest. Black, long dog hair was everywhere including the bed sheets. Very disappointing and disgusting. Luckily there was a pull out sofa as an alternate sleeping option. I forgot I had put the blanket from the bed on the pull out. When I cleaned up the next morning, I folded the blanket in with the pull out. The pull out bed was obviously not checked or cleaned, or they would have seen the blanket immediately. Instead Tanya harassed me after check out by calling multiple times in a row and not leaving a voicemail. I was not in a place where I could answer my phone. Instead of leaving a voicemail or sending me a text, she sent me condescending messages, via air b&b app, about stealing her blanket. “Why is the blanket missing” “did you take the blanket?” Instead of a normal, non-accusatory message. (Side note: I had forgotten a few items at check out and they allowed me back into the studio to pick up. I was grateful for that assistance but how ironic that they were able to communicate via text for that BUT when they had questions about the blanket, the accusations were made via air b&b messaging.) Makes me uneasy now that I realize they probably never even bothered to clean or sanitize the pull out sofa in the first place- gross!!!! I wasn’t going to leave an unsatisfied review but after the blanket incident, I felt like I needed to.
