Great place to stay, knowing that the beams are low as (George had written on the page from the beginning) we loved it and the views were amazing. Very practical and close to Montreux (15-20mins walk down to the lakeside), so a really great place to stay. And incredible value for money 👍 a must to do one day !

Elisabeth est une hôte exceptionnelle ! Dès mon arrivée, elle a su me mettre à l’aise avec son accueil chaleureux et ses petites attentions. Aux petits soins du début à la fin, elle veille à ce que tout soit parfait et que l’on ne manque de rien. Son sens de l’hospitalité et sa bienveillance rendent le séjour particulièrement agréable. Sibylle’s place is really nice with a lot of love for details and respect of nature. She communicated very proactive with clear and useful information. The place offers all the amenities that we required for a weekend and we had a great time on the terrace using the BBQ. The place is very quiet and suits perfectly to discover the surroundings of the Murten region. We would love to come back someday!

The place was very big and comfortable. We were 8 people, and with the 3 bathrooms and 4 rooms it made things very easy. The house was well equipped regarding the kitchen, and also with electronics / music. For the ski (we had many beginners), we used the car, it was close but felt like the best choice. Villars has both a completely free beginners area, and nice blue pistes up the slopes. We were there end of December and there was not too much snow (none at the village, it only snowed a bit once while there) but that's just luck, and we did some other sport activities at Villars. Only slight negative, the 2nd car had to be parked 6-7 minutes away uphill, as there is only one place in front of the house. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our holiday stay at this loft.

Die Wohnung ist eine große Empfehlung von uns,sie wohnen in einer Altstadt doch ganz modern eingerichtet, Samuel ist sehr hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen in seinem schönen Zuhause

Nous avons tellement apprécié notre séjour et l’accueil de Jean-Daniel et Serge que nous sommes retournés dans ce havre de paix au milieu de la campagne vaudoise parmi les chevaux, une belle dalmatienne et d’élégantes poules. L’architecture du loft est très belle, avec de grandes vitres qui laissent entrer la lumière et la nature environnante. Le logement est très confortable et propre. Jean-Daniel est un hôte très réactif et d’une grande gentillesse. Endroit idéalement situé entre Lausanne et Yverdon, avec une excellente boulangerie à 5 minutes en voiture. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

Nous avons passé une très belle nuit, dans une logement rustique et très bien aménagé, très propre et fidèle à la description. Un très bon et chaleureux accueil de même et un très bon repas le soir dans le restaurant. Je recommande fortement !

We were very warmly welcomed by Andrew in person who explained us all we needed to know for our stay in the apartment and provided us with first necessities for our stay. The appartement is very cosy with plenty of space for 6 and beautiful views on the alps. It is very well equipped with everything you might need and was perfectly clean. Andrew was very responsive to messages before, during and after our stay. We had a great time and highly recommend the place!

Always happy to stay here. Great location near metro and grocery. Just steps down the street. Very quiet location even though off Rue Caroline. Mike is super-responsive and available when needed. Will certainly stay again.

Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Die Lage ist toll, die Aussicht auf den See und die Anlegestelle ist phantastisch! Thomas war sehr freundlich und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben. Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön, super sauber und gemütlich. Lediglich der Blick auf ein Industriegebiet hat etwas genervt, allerdings vergisst man dies, wenn man die wunderschönen Berge sieht! Der Check-in war unkompliziert und entspannt.

Wir genossen auf der Alpe des Chaux eine tolle Ferienwoche und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Fanstastic location, walking distance from the main Station, old City and City Center. It is Not Just another Rental flat. This place has a soul and a owner's character. Fanstastic place to spend few days. It is Just amazing.

I have stayed in numerous high end hotels and apartments globally and this was a match for any of them. The layout, the space and the quality of furnishings are fantastic. Was perfect for a family holiday. All of this alongside magnificent views and a short walk in the village. Truly spectacular all round. To cap it all the hosts were extremely helpful with ideas and information for the stay and even reserved spaces at the local ski school due to high demand. Great place and great hosts, would fully recommend to anyone!
