Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Easy to find, stunning location, private, clean and tidy. Hosts were incredible, and always attentive and putting so much care and love into everything.

Beautiful location, excellent for relaxing and taking walks on the wild beach. Baths with a view were a luxury, the house was spotless with everything we needed. Great communication from Sarah. Highly recommend for a couples weekend getaway!

This home is beautiful, just as described. Just 2 of us but booked for 3 to have the entire home & that was the best decision made. Everything was clean & tidy, host supplied all the basic essentials. The home is in a great location and the spa pool was the best! Used it every morning and night. The home had a Bluetooth speaker we connected to while using the bbq area and spa. The neighbours were great, cause we didn’t know if anyone was there or not. So peaceful and so close to the beach. The host is a great communicator! Bonus you get to park your car on site and close the gate for privacy. We loved every bit of our time here. Thank you again for letting us stay 🥰

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a peaceful, relaxing experience. The location is incredibly quiet and serene—perfect for unwinding. At night, it’s dark enough for star gazing and astrophotography. Sadly, it was mostly cloudy during my stay, but on a clear night, it would be incredible. The daytime views are stunning, whether you're inside or out on the patio. The house doesn't have air conditioning, but each room has a portable heater and a fan, which was more than enough with the mild weather. Note that only the bedrooms have blinds; the living areas have large, uncovered windows, allowing lots of natural light and beautiful, uninterrupted views. It’s also well situated: Ātiu Creek Regional Park is a 7-minute drive, Minniesdale Chapel is just a minute away by car or a 5-minute walk, and Port Albert Wharf is about 10 minutes. Overall, it’s a lovely, peaceful getaway perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature.

We had such a lovely 2 night stay here while coming down for a friend's wedding nearby and wish we had booked for longer! Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious and generous. The place was very clean and we hope to come back in the future.

Perfect spot for a relaxing wekend with friends. We loved how close it was to the beach and the bikes made it so easy to get around Omaha. Kate was super helpful and accommodating.

We had a wonderful two nights at Lina's cottage. The cottage offers a lovely farm view and is very private and quiet. A highlight is the outdoor bathtub, and you can stay warm and comfortable with the floor heating.

Me and my friends spent a wonderful weekend in Taupo at Sally-Ann's place cooking, drinking tea, and listening to music (thanks for very clear instructions on the Chromecast!). We will carry great memories from the lake and nearby carvings we saw there. Despite the rainy weather, our stay was cozy - thank you for having us!

Really great cottage in amazing surroundings. It was fabulous to be able to take the dog and wander around the farm and see the animals. The cottage is comfortable and functionable rather than luxurious. This suited exactly what I was looking for. Very nicely located near the airport and supermarket, while still a short drive to town and the MTB park.

Absolutely gorgeous view! Beds were nicely made with mints and stuffed animals for the kids.

The hosts of Songbird Cottage have gone to a lot of trouble to make this place special. So many lovely features, both inside the cottage and around the grounds. One of the best instructions manuals we have encountered, including lots of great recommendations for local walks, attractions and eateries. Top marks.

Tastefully renovated cottage with lovely wooden floors. Detail in funky crockery and glasses, everything you needed to make your own dinners, great selection of games, loved the detail of a coffee machine and beans to freshy grind. Beautiful and sunny out the front. Great back yard if you had young children to run around in.

Great location, very quiet, peaceful, had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio and watching the sun set and birds and even a couple bunnies. House was very quiet and a great size for our family of three.

I needed a place that was peaceful and would allow me to recover and this beautiful cottage provided me with that and more. With a beautiful view from every window and the only sounds being the bird song and the breeze in the trees, it was a perfect place for me to re-energise and refuel. I highly recommend this cottage and the care of the hosts. There was also a much appreciated bag of fresh fejoas and apples - truly spoilt!

Nadia’s cottage was charming and felt very homey. The neighborhood seemed quiet and walkable. Off street parking and 2 individual bedrooms with three beds in total would make it a great place for a larger group. Beatiful, lush vegetation surround the cottage. This was a very enjoyable and comfortable place to spend the night. The location was easy to find and Nadia was very responsive.

We loved staying at Alison and Marc's place. The house was very comfortable and in such a truly beautiful location by the lake. What made made it very special though was how kind and hospitable Alison and Marc were, over and above what we have experienced before. They were also very quick to respond when we needed help. We had been given all the information in the first place but were having a simple moment and they sorted us out!

Had a relaxing stay! My husband, friends and I really enjoyed it. The surrounding nature/garden was serene and the place itself was so nice and clean. Definitely recommend for a chill getaway!

This place is a gem. Everything about the cottage is bespoke, quaint, and charming. The cottage thoughtfully stocked with essentials and has a gorgeous, lush backyard. Deborah is warm, kind, and the best Airbnb host we've had the pleasure of meeting. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this place!

If you desire peacefulness and relaxation, this is the place for you. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. Gillian is the perfect host; she does everything she can to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Set in a large well-maintained garden and within secluded countryside, the cottage is an easy 8-minute drive from the beautiful Muriwai Beach, its little blue penguins and the Gannet colony. Grocery shopping, restaurants and cafés are also near-by.

This place is the perfect get away! Close enough to the towns, with country living at its finest. Thank you again guys for a lovely stay!
