You know when you walk in to an air BnB and you instantly feel at ease and like you’re going to have the best weekend because of the place you get to sleep is perfect, this is how I felt stepping into Raewyn and Rod’s property. It was clean to absolute perfection, the bathroom was really cool, the beds were great - comfortable as and the granola, as per other reviews was fab! The home made peaches were however my favourite and my dad loved the plum jam! It’s peaceful with a great view and ambient outdoor areas to soak up some sun. In walking distance from a cute coffee spot and the pub was great for food. My dad and I had the best weekend and we couldn’t be more grateful for our stay and highly recommend.

Well exceeded expectations! Jen was amazing, helped with local recommendations and timings of the places around, clear instructions whenever we communicated an overall excellent experience. Myself and my children spent 3 days here including Christmas Day, when we arrived it was decorated Christmas theme, there were Santa sacks, small Xmas tree, fruit, lollies and even some treats for mum. Absolutely in awe with our stay and our smiles will last a long time. Thank you Maryann and Jen for everything 🌸

A tranquil hidden gem. Enjoyed the back garden with tui and kereru swooping overhead in the morning and warm sunshine in the afternoon. A lovely host who helped when needed then left us be. The studio had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Would love to come back to explore the region further.

A comfortable, compact apartment, perfect as a base for a worker. Was welcomed by Paul and given a tour, he and Leigh were friendly and always available to help/ chat / lend their dog for walks on the beach !! Lots of small details have been thought of. I particularly appreciated the well kitted out kitchen. The beach is visible from the kitchen window and accessible by walking down the driveway.

Me and my Whanau enjoyed our stay, we have twin boy toddlers who love to run/walk so the beach being so close was ideal for us being able to run on the beach until they were tired. Also love that there were toys they could play with while we satyed too

This was a great spot to stay and will definitely come back next time.

Myself, 5yo son, my parents and our three dogs had a great stay here. the view of the water is stunning! Easy to find, and convenient that the key pick up point is on your way to the accommodation too. Plenty of playgrounds dotted about, and so quiet. The beach house had everything we needed. Future visitors with pets just be aware that there is no fenced area to contain your dogs, so they can access the beach and road if unsupervised. Wouldn't stop us staying again though! The steps down to the beach are pretty steep but for older/broken amongst us is achievable, and there are alternative beach access walkways a few houses down if needed. We enjoyed a few kayak trips on the Estuary too. Only 25 mins to Papamoa if you want a dinner outing. Really nice touch with the coffee vouchers for the local Cafe, Montys, which was our go-to!

Delwyn and Sara were quick to respond to any communication. They obviously understood families as they supplied extra linen and towels. We appreciated being able to have our family dogs with us, and they had a great time too. We appreciated the offer of a late check out to enjoy the sunshine after an otherwise very wet and blustery stay.

A very warm welcome by Kay on my arrival. Her holiday home was very well stocked with everything you could imagine! The double beds were very comfortable and her pillows superb. Great I could hear the sea from my bedroom too! Thank you Kay we had a wonderful time away.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Barbs beautiful home, it had everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining, loved the outdoor deck straight off lounge nice spot to eat and relax a wonderful touch was each room was so beautifully presented and the spa pool topped off each day with a relaxing soak. Feeding Mr Wilson was great too the kids enjoyed having a little job each day. Thank you so much. We had a lovely Easter weekend together.

beautiful modern home covered every basis with indoor movies/ games to keep kids entertained in the wet weather big spacious kitchen with every appliance needed. bathrooms were lovely and beds were comfortable. big back/front yard to hit the baseball or kick the soccer ball. very friendly neighbourhood- someone would always speak. will be back in the summer time

Had a lovely stay albeit we weren’t at the house for very long due to a wedding. We had clear instructions on where to find the key and how to get in the house. From there we were greeted with a tidy home with suitable rooms for our stay. Everything was clean and everyone was happier than expected with our accommodation. Just one thing, we were left with an empty body wash in the shower. Overall, great stay and would be happy to visit again.
