We loved the tranquility and peace, and it was a great location near the beach. It's well set up and we loved the secure fences for our two Jack Russells. All in all, a very good choice for a leisurely weekend away from Wellington. It ticked the boxes.

This is the quintessential Kiwi bach with a bonus trampoline for the kids and a volleyball net for everyone! We enjoyed the generous outside living space, and there is a covered outside deck for our family dog to stay. The home had everything we needed, was very clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Great location, only a 2-minute drive to the beach, and to the forest for walking and biking tracks. Supermarket is about an 8-minute drive into Foxton.

Fantastic place to stay! The house was super clean and tidy, comfy beds, and everything you needed in the kitchen. Great communication and instructions. The location was perfect with the forest & beach so close. Huge bonus having a fenced section & being able to take our dogs. Highly recommend Hamish’s place.

Blackbird is a thoroughly comfy cosy nest for settling in and making the most of what Martinborough has to offer. Just a block back from the central square, handy to everything yet quiet. Plenty of comfortable space to relax both inside and out in the lovely private garden with various seating options. As chefs we appreciated a sizeable, very well appointed and supplied kitchen and dining area. With the bedroom, bathroom and common area set up it creates a flexible set up for two couples travelling together, a group of singles or a family. Very much a comfy home away from home. Comfortable, character home in the Wellington suburbs. Easy access to and from the cbd on the No. 2 bus. Friendly cat. If you want to experience a bit of true kiwiana then you will love this neighbourhood.

A fabulous place for a family holiday - my kids loved playing in the flat yard and with the beach about a minute or two walk away, it was easy to get the kids into the water and back. Raumati South four square and cafes just over 5 minutes walk away. The bach itself was well equipped with basic supplies and Amy is a wonderful host - proactive communicator and extremely kind and helpful.

Julie was so friendly and communicative, she made us feel right at home. So did Archie and Stevey the dogs, who we loved! The villa was larger than I expected and was perfectly set up for us. The location is ideal, close to the waterfront, wineries and cafes, and not too far from Havelock North for more restaurants, cafes and shops. Would recommend and would definitely stay again 😊 Thank you Julie for having us

absolutely stunning property everything you would imagine a homestead to be, it was really grand inside put also warm and very comfortable. we have two children so it was nice to relax and let them enjoy the space. pool was great we had some fun imagine the summer months to be even better. Easy to find and seamless checkin. A nice quiet road with beautiful properties all around. An excellent place to stay for a couple of nights.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this airbnb. Its a nice blend between being away from the busy city life, yet still situated close enough to access anything you need without a lengthy drive. Hosts were friendly and responsive. Definitely recommend this spot!

Nick and Judy’s place was the perfect spot for us to spend a few days whilst visiting family in the area. Private, with beautiful surroundings and lots of sunlight, it was an easy place to relax and also get some work done when needed. Great location, an easy walk along the river into Havelock North and a close drive to Hastings and Te Mata peak. The kitchen had all the essentials, including fresh bread, eggs and jams which was such a nice touch. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Maxine's place is exactly as described....what a beautiful peaceful setting, Maxine was very helpful, too. Would recommend staying here....within a long stone's throw of the walking tracks on Te Mata peak and such clear night skies as well. Straight back down the hill and within a couple of minutes you are right in the middle of Havelock North. Happy to stay there again. Cheers George

Great house for two families, we enjoyed the hot tub, children loved the communal pool, tennis court and trampoline! It was a great way to visit an area that didn’t seem to have a huge amount for children to do.

Fantastic place to stay in Martinborough, extremely close to the cafes and shops. The cottage was tidy and fully fenced. Perfect for those with a dog, ours loved it.

Klare is what makes this a special place: kind, friendly, and helpful. The bed is comfy, the tuis chat away, and it's a bit like a good old kiwi holiday bach. Casual, welcoming, and easygoing in a spare self contained room of her home. Thank you Klare for added excitement 😊

We loved staying at this lovely little cottage. It was a little house really. Great to have a washing machine and dryer. Also great kitchen supplies and set up. Not that we used it much except for our own breakfast but there were so many things supplied. I would recommend it to anyone.

Castlepoint is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

It was exactly what I needed! Peace in the country by the river, among farms, olive groves and vineyards. Vernette left me a thoughtful card and gift for my birthday (why I was getting away!) which made it even better. 💙

Such an incredible host and such a great space! Tiny house done right, that’s for sure! Felt much more spacious than you would imagine. Had a remarkable amount of amenities and things provided. It was very comfortable and beautiful.

It was nice to have Janet & Ian meet us on arrival. The unit is a cosy self contained and private section in the downstairs area of their home. Very comfortable bed. Having off-street parking is a bonus.
