This was our third visit as a family and we loved it every bit as much with teenagers as when the kids were little. We won't forget hours of puppy cuddles in a hurry. Ann and Ross are amazing hosts and provide an authentic Kiwi farm experience. Yes there will be flies, animal poo under foot and hair on your clothes but it is such a rare treat to handle friendly animals. A must visit for city folk!

Lovely spot. We loved the friendly pigs and horse. Outdoor bath was also a real hit for everyone. About 20min drive to the shuttle depo for the timber trail

Beautiful spot, and views form the deck. The shearer’s quarters is such a good space to relax in.

Certainly a one of a kind accommodation option. It’s a bit tight inside but overall perfectly good for a couple of nights. Just be aware that it is on the road and next door to the holiday park, so it was a little noisy at night and in the morning (dogs barking), and the carpark out front of the living room for the cafe kept having people pull in even though the cafe was closed.

Perfect space for a larger group with absolutely stunning views

We had a great stay at Trevor’s B&B. We had an issue with the shower which he sorted very quickly, check in was super easy and the hot tub was a great bonus! Panoramic views from the hot tub and easy self-serve breakfast in the dining area. Trevor gave a great recommendation of a local bush walk to see the glow worms. Thanks Trevor!

We loved our stay! The menagerie running around is fun, but keep in mind that it is a farm house. The breakfast was a lovely addition to our stay, and we loved the conversations with the host and other guests.

10/10 would recommend for a unique and fun experience! Ann & Ross were super friendly hosts. Very welcoming, friendly and open. The studio was perfect for 4 people and the breakfast was wonderful (even got to eat the last ostrich egg of the season). If you love animals, this is the place to be.

Liz and Rob were great. They even kept some toys and books handy for our little 20 month old. They made us feel welcomed. The place was beautiful with serene surroundings and beautiful views just at our doorstep😀😀 Liz even clicked a few photos for us with the view

We had a great stay! The place was very clean and tidy. It was quiet and peaceful all around, which made it very relaxing. Everything was just like the pictures. It was a very pleasant experience, and we would love to come back again.

Mel’s house is located on top of a hill with absolutely stunning views. The place is fully equipped with everything you need, and there’s even a free spa and sauna to enjoy. There are also some lovely animals around — a friendly dog, fluffy cats,and two adorable geese! Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at the farm. It was absolutely beautiful - even the kids stopped to admire the sunset over the rolling hills. We got there quite late and the kids were starving, but luckily Suzanne had left a packet of pasta in the cupboard for us, which saved the day! Thanks Suzanne for being an incredible host.

I told Helen that the stay in her house is the most comfortable and beautiful place during my trip in New Zealand for almost 12 days. Helen is so nice to welcome us even at the night and her offer extended check out time so we can have time to meet the fluffy friends in the farm. I wish I could spend more time with Helen and the beautiful house to enjoy the peaceful life. The house is indeed highly recommended.

Trevor’s place was perfect for our overnight! I only wish we had more time so we could have enjoyed the unbelievable view from the back yard and the hot tub. We had to take off early in the morning but we definitely missed out! 100% recommend staying here

Trevor’s BnB is lovely, such a beautiful property. He was very communicative and friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer. This is the perfect peaceful place to stay if you’re traveling solo, with friends, or in a couple. Would recommend!!

A lot of thought has gone into this Airbnb. All the small things make it special, we loved the outdoor kitchen, the herb garden, the automatic blinds, comfortable bed with nice linen. It has everything you need for a relaxing weekend 🤍
