Chicken house dome

Cromen Tŷ Cyw Iâr (Chicken house dome). A slated dome is a unique building, this one looks down the Honddu and Usk valleys and you can see for 25 miles from the star window looking South East. I have reused materials as much as possible in its construction. The original henhouse was rebuilt to create the private bathroom alongside and contains a hot shower, w.c. and basin. I have created a special place for visitors to stay with their own private piece of rural Wales to enjoy.

Set in the midst of our woodland, at Glan Y Mor camping, our newest addition is private and secluded and yet with beautiful light and a direct view to the stars. Cosy and warm inside with a log burning stove, double bed and seating/ kitchenette area. Outside you’ll find your own firepit with hot plate for sitting out and watching the stars. Beautiful Woodland Hobbit/ Fairy/ Witch house Nestled away in our woodland is our roundhouse. Beautifully from straw bales and super insulated with gas hob, wood burner and running water. Come hideaway, hibernate, nestle and nuzzle.. tend fires, read, jump in our lake, pick salad and eggs from the farm... This cabin offers the perfect place to step into a different pace, to be at one with nature, to slow down and think about what matters in the world.
