I recently stayed here for a snow week and it was great, being close to the mountain and also Mansfield meant we could enjoy to snow and the Mansfield Zoo/Cinema and restaurants. Abby was quick to respond to any questions, super friendly helpful. Would love to come back next snow season!

The house itself is perfectly suited for 3–4 families, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. It's tucked away off the road in a private, quiet setting, surrounded by beautiful nature. We especially loved the fact that the Delatite River runs just behind the property—such a peaceful spot to unwind. The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore the area, with an easy drive to both Mt Buller and Mt Stirling. Whether you're into skiing, hiking, or just soaking in the alpine atmosphere, it's a fantastic base. The amenities were top-notch—clean, comfortable, and well thought-out for groups. The games room and tennis court were an absolute bonus and a big hit with both kids and adults! Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway with family or friends. We’ll definitely be back!

The house was well-equipped with thoughtful touches, from breakfast options and kitchen supplies to lovely personal items that made us feel right at home. The welcome cheese platter was such a kind and appreciated gesture. We were looking for a peaceful, private getaway, and this place delivered perfectly. We especially loved the energy-efficient indoor fireplace and the outdoor fire pit overlooking the dam—it was the perfect spot to unwind. The views were stunning, with mountains, vineyards, farmland, bush, and a beautiful dam and birdlife, creating a truly serene setting. The house itself is a charming older style that’s been painted and renovated to feel light, airy, and welcoming. The heating was both efficient and quiet, which made our stay extra comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better retreat—highly recommended!

Stirling Homestead is a hidden jewel of the stunning Victorian High Country. Absolutely every aspect of this property is perfect. The hosts have thought of everything. Cannot wait to return.

It was our weekend to go skiing, and the location was perfect—just a 30-minute drive away. The place is cozy and clean, surrounded by beautiful views and so many kangaroos, deer, and birds, which we found really cool. Everything in the place worked well, and it had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Spent a wonderful day with my wife for our anniversary and it was so calm and relaxing environment with stunning view of sunset.
