We had a great peaceful weekend here! Everything felt clean and fresh. It felt super homey and cozy. Not much to do around here but that’s exactly what I wanted to get away from the city and we didn’t need to leave the cabin!

This was our second stay in the “Sisters Cabin”, and just like our first in 2022, it did not disappoint! Located on a bluff in bucolic, sylvan Monteagle, TN, this is a quiet, restful retreat that features super-comfortable beds, killer sunsets and views and a lovely covered back porch. Colene and her sister, Carla, are consummate, communicative hosts who go the extra mile to make sure you feel at home and are well taken-care of! Carla even came by twice during our weekend to drop off some blankets during an unexpected May cold snap and to re-light the fireplace pilot light. It can be a little tricky to find the place at night or if it’s your first visit, but that is part of the “off-the-beaten-path” vibe that enhances the retreat-like atmosphere of the property. We can’t recommend this quaint, comfortable and clean-as-whistle cabin enough! We also were pleased to see some upgrades and refreshed amenities (blackout blinds, new tile shower in the 3rd BR). Visiting family in the area and location was excellent. Home was spotless and they allowed my well behaved 10 year old dog and cat to stay. Outside porch/deck area was very comfortable and serene. Loved spending time there enjoying nature. Be sure to visits their shops downtown and introduce yourself. Very friendly and great places to shop. Sparta is a wonderful area and offers something for everyone. I’ll definitely be renting again.

We were in the area for a wedding, and this was a great place to stay especially compared to hotel prices. The place is fully equipped, spacious, clean, comfy, eccentrically decorated, and has an overall good vibe. The bed was extra cozy and I slept super well! Easy parking, check-in, and checkout. I recommend this stay to others.

Robert’s entire property is perfect for a show at the caverns. We stayed in the smaller cabins last year but the house is perfect for a larger group. Firewood wasn’t available as we thought but was easy to find for purchase. Would stay here for every caverns show!

This space provided a wonderful getaway for a girls weekend with close friends. The beds are comfortable, the creature comforts (blankets and sheets) are well appointed, and the screened in deck in the back of the house is full of zen! Thank you for creating a space to unplug and recharge. My girlfriends and I loved our time together in your not so tiny, tiny home :-)
