Dawn was a perfect host. Her quaint little home is exactly as pictured. We loved the fact that the home was pet friendly and yet exceptionally clean. Definitely will be rebooking a stay.

The Retro River Retreat home is a secure, well maintained, uniquely decorated home. This beautiful property sits directly on a very fishable section of the Trinity River. The setting is serene and quiet. We were impressed by the WIFI/internet signal strength, having more than just one TV was great and the King adjustable bed was just what the doctor ordered.

Wonderful space. Nicely appointed, with tasteful decor, great views from the master bedroom and main living area. The home had thoughtful touches throughout; a true Airbnb. The home was spacious, homey, clean and inviting. Plenty of space, and direct access to the river. Ryan, was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The neighbor we spoke with on the morning we left was friendly. We will plan to come back in the summer with the family for some fishing and cooling off in the river.

Absolutely a beautiful Yurt with beautiful views & even more beautiful souls the straw house team went way beyond & felt more like family then a staff. everything about a vacation away from redding was perfect , food . thank you so much for bringing down blankets & chairs & a table for us by the river to lay & read & relax. the cafe'is heaven & can't wait to come back for more. in love with All of it. 🤗 very blessed to gave found this place. What a magical retreat Amy and Miles have created! My 12-year-old daughter and I stayed a couple of nights before she headed to summer camp, and it was the perfect spot for quality bonding time. Maddie, their sweet brown Lab, greeted us warmly upon our arrival and kept us company throughout our stay. Amy was an exceptional hostess, leaving us a lovely handwritten note and thoughtful gemstones that made us feel truly welcomed. The separate cabins are both unique and practical, equipped with everything we needed. We loved discovering delightful touches like olive oil and flaked sea salt, fresh herbs, vases of cut flowers, and ice-cold Capri Suns that my daughter enjoyed! Amy and her lovely mom, who was visiting, graciously took us on a hike around their property, which was an absolute pleasure. They were both so knowledgeable and fun! I can’t wait to spend more time in this peaceful haven and explore the area further before picking up my daughter from camp. I’m truly charmed!

Dwight's place is spectacular. The setting is private, the place is quiet, super comfortable, and very well stocked. I was there for flyfishing and it is close to many river access points. Dwight is very responsive. I hope to stay there again when I am in the area next.

Lisa and MaryAnn were great. The place was Awesome. Best sleep ever listening to the river outside. I would stay here again.

This place is not for everyone but for those who appreciate privacy, tranquility, and quietude, it is a dream. I like that it was tucked away in the mountains. The kitchen is very well stocked and there was hot water and electricity the whole time I was there. You should know how to operate a wood stove and don't expect great internet but that's the point of a getaway in the mountain cabin. Amber and caretaker Christian were both so warm, kind, helpful, and supportive during my whole stay there. I can't wait to come back in the summer and bring my son and partner

Daisy was an amazing host. The house was in a beautiful location and she made us feel right at home. Our family had a fun, relaxing time together and didn't have to worry about a thing. We even left a few things and she made sure to get them back to our family. Would absolutely visit again.
