Tiny Houses als Ferienunterkünfte in Wellington

Thank you Tania. Absolutely perfect for my daughter and I. We are country lovers so this couldn’t have been better for us. Loved looking at the horses out the window / door. Loved the sounds of the birds in the evening and the morning. I got a little confused finding the cottage at first as I went up the left driveway to the main house, not the right driveway. But was able to get hold of Tania promptly and she was able to redirect me. This is a beautiful rustic type cottage with the space really well thought out. I didn’t mind the kitchenette in the bathroom. Obviously as long as you keep everything sanitary as you use it it’s not an issue. Kind of the same situation if you were to stay in a caravan everything is close together amenities wise. Was nice and warm and super cosy. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks so much for your kind, friendly and inviting hospitality.

A lovely private cabin amongst the trees with the sound of the river and cicadas. The bed and chairs were extremely comfortable and the cabin was very clean. Gail also was able to provide access to indoor bathroom/shower and some kitchen facilities as there were no other guests staying at this time. Gail was very friendly and helpful and a lovely host.

Great little place to stay, we were fortunate with fantastic weather to really appreciate the views. Parking is tight, but we were in a big ute, not a little town car. Great place, nice and clean.

The place is totally beautiful and suitable for a nice getaway from a busy city life. It’s peaceful and plenty of outdoor chilling area. The interior is tastefully decorated with personal touches. And Dale is so lovely to communicate throughout and understanding of our sudden change of situation. It’s hard to find such lovely hosts in Airbnb sometimes, so we are lucky to have met her!

Everything about this property is fantastic. It’s our go to place for every judge that we have adjudicating our competition.

Lovely staying at Brenda’s cottage. Cosy and clean inside, close to the centre of town with the cable car and Botanic gardens just minutes away. Helpful guide inside the cottage with local recommendations. Brenda was very friendly and had everything set up for me to walk straight in given my arrival late in the evening! Would love to stay again! Thanks Brenda!

Elizabeth's Air BNB just exceeded our expectations. The apartment views looking out to the sea just breathtaking. The accommodation so comfortable, yet exceptionally stylish. She certainly has an eye for detail. It was like walking into a New York apartment in the skies. Perfect for the relaxing getaway we wanted. Beds so comfortable and linen sheets an added bonus. Will certainly be back and will use the hot tub next time! Thank you.

We had a relaxing stay, the outdoor bath was really nice. Not far from the beach and the shops which was handy. Would recommend to others :)

I love this place! It's perfect if you are doing through and need a place to stay or if (like me) you want to visit the area but have a peaceful private end to your day. It's quiet here, green and with no TV you get to actually spend time together.

Laura's place is really delightful, a true refuge from the city. We loved the thoughtful attention to detail and the design of the apartment. It's extremely private and comfortable and surrounded by bush and birdsong (mostly tui). Everything you could think of is provided including frozen bagels and croissants, and comprehensive kitchen equipment. It will certainly be our first choice for our return visits to Wellington. Parking and turning is fine for a small car like ours but would be more challenging for a large car.

Such an incredible host and such a great space! Tiny house done right, that’s for sure! Felt much more spacious than you would imagine. Had a remarkable amount of amenities and things provided. It was very comfortable and beautiful.

While the grounds were beautifully kept and tranquil, the passing trains detracted from the tranquillity, which was unfortunate as that did impinge on the beautiful location and facility provided by our hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean, quiet, and private. The location was perfect—just a short walk to wineries, restaurants, and the main shops.

Absolutely loved it here. Clean and tidy. Super close to the beach for morning walks, lovely cafe around the corner and so peaceful. I started to relax and enjoy the space so much I had to book an extra night. Communication was really great. Can’t wait to holiday there again. Great weekend get away

The photos don’t do this place justice — I wish I could attach ours! From the start, Sarah was a fantastic host. The location is perfect for escaping the city and slowing down — so peaceful and quiet. We’ve never stayed anywhere that was truly this kid-friendly. Our 3-year-old had the best time: bush walks right at our doorstep, a short walk (with so much to see along the way) to the fields and playground, spotting and feeding animals, and the absolute highlight — getting to ride on a digger! TV and streaming services were available, but we barely touched them — there was just so much to do outside. Phones were ignored, screens stayed off — it was the perfect place to enjoy real screen-free time as a family. We brought groceries with us, but with the thoughtful treats Sarah provided, we hardly needed to leave. Everything was very well thought out, a lot of love has clearly been given to the overflow and guess. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more — we will definitely be back.

This sort of place is why Airbnb is great. What a beautiful and tranquil spot in the bush. Loved sitting in the hot tub listening to birdsong. We loved it. This was one of our best ever Airbnb experiences. They thought of everything, and it was all available. Bluetooth speakers, coffee, board games, good kitchen, amazing bathroom. Great place to stay if you need a place for a few days in Upper Hutt. I would stay again and also recommend to others. It was great that it was dog friendly as well, our mini schnauzer also enjoyed our stay.

It is a lovely cabin with an amazing view. We’ve enjoyed the wonderful stars at night. The cabin is quite small, but it contains everything necessary. Just be aware that the internet can be quite weak, so it’s a great opportunity to have some time off and relax purely on yourselves.
