Ferienunterkünfte in West Columbia

Pat & Chelsea were great hosts. We had a few minor instances, but they responded very quickly and got everything resolved. The house is nicely decorated and clean. The only way to enter the house is by climbing stairs and the stairs inside are steep and narrow, something we were not expecting so if you have issues climbing, it may be a problem. The deck is very large and a great hang out spot, but the deck needs some love. There are boards popping up, even under the rug which caused some tripping hazards. An umbrella on the outdoor table would be nice and the string lights made it feel cozy but not all of them worked. There is an eye sore house across the street so a privacy screen of some sort on the deck would be nice. With a little TLC, the deck will be the spotlight of the house!! We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit each night, but there are no lights on the outside stairs, so bring a lantern. There are no hammocks like the picture displays. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

This place was great for our few days in Hocking Hills. The place was incredibly clean, exactly as pictured, and had plenty of space for our party of 5. A couple quick notes it is far from grocery stores and restaurants in general, so be prepared for a little drive if you plan to go out. As a previous renter mentioned there are not any storage containers for leftovers so if you plan to cook you might want to bring your own. Phone service is also sparse in the area so you will need to use wifi. Also the downstairs can be quite chilly so if you plan to use that space in the spring or winter months be sure to pack some warm pajamas and socks. My only suggestion for this place would be a more comfortable seating arrangement on the lower level. The tv is mounted on the wall and can’t really be seen well from the bed. A love seat or even one additional chair would really make the space more functional. Over all we loved this place! Highly recommend!

Always THE BEST hosts and place to stay when I’m in this area. Krista and Chad are most helpful - every single time - no matter what my needs are when I’m there working. SO GRATEFUL for this home away from home and for an INCREDIBLE place to work out of!
