We are a short walk from Baildon village, where you’ll find pubs, shops, restaurants and takeaways, and Leeds city is just 15 mins on the train. Located on our family farm, we have animals on site, including horses, cows, goats, dogs, cats and 2 micro pigs (Gavin & Stacey) so some farm noises are to be expected on a morning!

The barn was originally used to house milking cows so the beams have been retained in all the rooms to maintain the character of the barn. The Tack Store is a new barn conversion on our small farm outside the village of Silkstone. Views are some of the best in South Yorkshire, overlooking rolling hills and woodland, it's a perfect escape for those who love peace, quiet & walking. Equally we are only 1.5m from the M1 for guests wanting a more varied experience. We are child and pet friendly. We have tried really hard to create a relaxing home away from home. A hot tub will be installed for bookings April 25 onwards.

A unique village retreat with Sauna & Cold Plunge

Converted from a lovely old barn, you will feel right at home in bright and welcoming Star Barn. Outside there is an enclosed garden and through the garden gate is the Sauna & Cold Plunge. It’s a peaceful private spot in the centre of this small historic village which boasts two pubs, a deli and a village shop. We welcome pets too, so you can enjoy some fabulous local dog walks. A rarity in this cobbled street village - there is parking right next to the barn.
