This was my first booking with Airbnb so I didnt really know what to expect but Mel has certainly set the standard. She is a friendly, helpful, honest, and incredibly responsive host. The house was exactly as described and the quiet location was perfect for us. We'll definitely stay again when we return to Mersea Island, which was beautiful too!

we had a lovely time - walkable to High Street and beach and lots of amazing places to eat (do book as they get busy). four adults and one dog and we had plenty of space it was like home from home. We thought we would have problems parking but that was fine too - we had to nove our car a few times but that didn't bother us and there are car parks near by. Really wouldn't hesitate booking again. Fiona also answered our questions very quickly.

We absolutely loved our stay at Coastguards. Stones throw from the beach, an easy walk from the station. Pubs, shops and amenities all close by. Coastguards is a lovely house, really well equipped with all you might need, lots of lovely features and what a view from the bed! Communication from Anne Marie was great, lots of good advice etc. definitely recommend as a wonderful place to stay!

We have just returned home from a week’s stay at Karen‘s house. It was a home from home with lots of space for our family of five and very clean. Karen was super helpful and responsive, she even went as far as leaving presents out for our children that they loved and food items for our stay. The house is centrally located for shopping, the seafront, park and many other local attractions. If you are thinking of staying here, we highly recommend and would book again. Thank you Karen!

Tara is a great host and it was really nice to stay at her airbnb. Had great moments by relaxing the firepit after busy days out! Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing week in Whitstable. As a young family that are fond of activities and food being near the centre of Whitstable and the beach was perfect. Sara was super friendly and helpful. She lent us crabbing nets and a barbecue. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. Thank you!

Great place to stay, right by the beach with easy access out the back door avoiding all roads. Great for kids. Parking on site was an added bonus. Patricia was the perfect host. Very easy to communicate with.

We had a short stay but everything was amazing , good , clear communication from start to finish , house was clean and had everything you need to feel like home. Everything looks like in the pictures , we'll definitely come back here. Thank you Rohan 4 hosting us.

A very clean warm and modern caravan,a powerfull hot shower room with toilet and another separate toilet & sink. fantastic value for money place to stay. will be coming back for sure.

This is a really lovely place to stay. The caravan had everything you could possibly want and more. Hosts are incredibly easy to communicate with and very helpful indeed. Would absolutely recommend.

We had the perfect stay. It was a home away from home with little touches like kids books, games and movies. It's ideal for walks along the beach in all weather. Gill was a brilliant host. Friendly, helpful, responsive and very accommodating. The park has lots to do and it within walking distance of Seasalter beach and Whitstable. We'd highly recommend and come back. location of the site easy to find. Great location and was lovely and quiet. caravan was clean and well kept. balcony is a great asset with dogs and they enjoyed there stay her too! lots of options for food and drink around the island. When the shower malfunctioned Jac got it sorted same day which was much appreciated. Cosy van with heaters for when it gets chilly. Overall great break and value for money. only thing to note there is no freezer, our dogs have raw food which needs to be kept frozen but we managed.

We had the most wonderful stay at Parkdean, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the very beginning, the host's communication was absolutely top-notch – clear, friendly, and super efficient. The booking process was smooth and stress-free, which really set the tone for our whole trip. The caravan itself was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed and more – we genuinely couldn't believe the amazing value for money. For the price we paid, we got so much more than we expected! It's rare to find somewhere that offers both quality and affordability, but this place really nails it. The whole experience felt like a little slice of luxury without the hefty price tag. If you're looking for a fantastic getaway that doesn’t break the bank, this is it. We’re already planning our next visit!

A lovely, relaxing and peaceful property - we loved our stay. Location is perfect for a short walk to beach and restaurants. Bethany's property was sparkling clean and tidy, and has all the amenities you could possibly need. Both Bethany and Gail were super responsive when we couldn't find something. Jason’s place was wonderful for our little family and super close to old town and new town. Sara’s was great for brunch Sunday morning and the Library playground and library were great for my little one on Saturday.

A lovely top floor flat right on the High Street and close to the beach. We had a glitch checking in, but this was swiftly fixed. Great location so long as you're happy to climb stairs, and don't mind a little bit of noise on a Saturday night

This is a lovely property in an amazing location in Whitstable. Very friendly host who made sure we had everything we needed before, during and on departure day. Lots of things to do within a short walk. Property was perfect for a group of friends weekend getaway, comfortable with everything we could need. Thank you, thoroughly recommend.

Emma's place was romantic and very pretty. We felt like we had entered a time machine and gone straight back to the 1950s! The whole cottage felt calm and cosy and strangely familiar. We both loved it very much! Highly recommended place to stay, we can't wait to go back again 💗

Love Old Leigh. Needed somewhere while visiting family locally and where better. Somehow managed to never see the tide in. Parking was good considering how busy the area is.
