Türme als Ferienunterkünfte in Western Europe

Nous avons passé un beau séjour chez Migueline et Christophe. Le logement correspond bien à sa description. Nos hôtes ont été accueillants, disponibles et réactifs à nos questions ou besoins. Même si nous cohabitons au même lieu, la configuration et l'emplacement du logement permet d'avoir intimité et tranquillité. Nous avons passé de belles vacances, merci!

We stayed at Torre Gigliano for 3 nights in April as a break from a long drive between the UK and eastern Europe. Alessandra was a generous and friendly host, on hand but not intrusive and was flexible with our check-in time when our ferry crossing was changed significantly. The tower was the most perfect place to rest and relax for a few days with both indoor and outdoor space being truly magical. The tower is beautifully presented and we found everything impeccably clean and all facilities exactly as described. The outdoor space is equally stunning with acres of olive groves to wander within (ideal for dogs), a beautifully clean small pool and each of the four sides of the tower offering a different place to sit and relax. We planned to leave the tower and explore Ruvo and the surroundings but found the place just too difficult to leave. Thank you Alessandra.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in dieser Airbnb-Unterkunft! Die Lage war einfach perfekt - zentral gelegen und doch ruhig. Die Beschreibung der Unterkunft traf voll und ganz zu, und wir fanden alles genauso vor, wie es beschrieben wurde. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war ebenfalls hervorragend. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden gerne wiederkommen!

Was für ein atemberaubendes Baumhaus. Der Blick aus dem Fenster, auf den See und die Natur wirkte wie gemalt. Ein wirklich magischer Ort. Das Haus ist absolut smart gemacht und sehr gemütlich gebaut. Wir kamen sehr zur Ruhe, ganz so wie wir es uns gewünscht haben. Knut André und seine Frau Mara haben alles liebevoll und detailverliebt hergerichtet, sodass wir uns direkt sehr wohl und heimisch gefühlt haben. Für uns fehlte es an nichts. Die Küchenausstattung war super. Die Versorgung von Wasser, Gas, Holz und Kerzen war bestens vorbereitet. Die Sauna und Hot Tube haben unseren Aufenthalt dazu abgerundet. Dazu drei Tage strahlender Sonnenschein. ☀️ was wünscht man sich mehr. Wir haben unsere Sachen sogar mit dem Boot transportiert. Danke für drei unvergessliche Tage. Maik, Isabel und Teddy 🐾

Tracey place was fantastic, everything we needed was at our door step, from local places to eat and drink and great walks, our highlight was walking to St Abbs and returning on the local rib boat. We enjoyed people watching from our garden area looking at the harbour and talking to the locals who are extremely friendly. The tower it's self was extremely clean and comfortable. The bottle of wine was an added surprise we will definitely be back

We absolutely loved our stay! The place has the most beautiful view!! Daniela is a phenomenal host! The place is definitely harder to get to without a car, but Daniela went out of her way to tell us what bus to take, the bus schedules and made sure we got off at the right stop! She went above and beyond! It was very clean upon arrival. We had everything we needed for a week stay — enough towels & linens, pots & pans, paper towels & toilet paper. We loved how much there was to walk to around the place. There is a butcher shop across the street, at least 4 restaurants within walking distance, and a small market with everything we needed. We also walked to the beach many times. There is also a scooter rental place next door that we utilized and that was so convenient and great! It was so quiet and peaceful and all the neighbors are so nice! I just have to mention again how GREAT the views were! We would def come back!! Our only complaints were the amount of flies & how hard the bed was.

This was one of the most unusual places I’ve ever stayed in. We did have a few walkers come up from Chatsworth and admire the view but mainly we were in splendid isolation. Walking around the woods and admiring the Aqueduct in the evening was quite magical; it felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves. The tower itself is an amazing survival from Tudor times and has been modernised sympathetically. The round shower was a favourite feature. The nearby farm shop was very good with a wide range of good quality food. It did snow whilst we were there but Sandra from Chatsworth Cottages kept in touch and made sure we were fine which was much appreciated. Altogether I would recommend the tower for anyone who wants to stay somewhere unusual and highly memorable. One word of caution though there is a spiral staircase connecting the floors so the building is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Excelente lugar para descansar e ir de vacaciones. Muy bonita la casa.

We had an amazing time at the lighthouse! So much to do just on site alone. We wouldn’t even have had to leave to have an incredible time, but we did try out some of the host recommendations for dining and shopping.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung in zentraler Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Le logement est situé dans un coin de campagne magnifique, au calme, parfait pour se reposer, se ressourcer et profiter de la nature. Tout était réuni pour passer un excellent moment. Nous recommandons ce lieu sans hésitation !

This is a really fun place. It was perfect for my wife and I to have a quiet romantic weekend. We went hiking at 2 of the nearby state parks and just sat outside and enjoyed the fire both nights. The coffee setup is amazing. The kitchen is small, but it had a hot plate and grill so cooking was not an issue. I would 100% go back again.

Wir waren mit unserer Familie (4 Personen) sehr glücklich mit der Unterkunft. Die Ruhige Lage und die Nähe zu der City hat alle zufrieden gestimmt. Wir hatten sehr angenehme Tage in Berlin und gerne wieder.

River Forest Lookout is an absolutely spectacular place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, surrounded by the beauty of nature. The area around the lookout, with the river and forest, is breathtaking. The accommodation itself is stunning – both in design and comfort. We were deeply impressed by the construction of the lookout, every detail has been carefully considered. The interiour is very harmonious and tasteful, it’s clear that the hosts put a lot of love and effort into creating this space. We’re very grateful for this unique experience. Mafalda’s place is such a wonderful and unique stay. The converted windmill is so well equipped and the space utilized perfectly. The view from the property is beautiful, and having a morning coffee on the deck with sea views ans birds chirping was such a great start to our day! The property is in a great location for a quick drive or a walk to the waterfront, restaurants and the natural swimming area. Mafalda is a very thoughtful and most caring host. She made sure to check in to see that we were able to find and get into the place okay and even left a lovely welcome basket. Mafalda also sent recommendations of things to do around the island and place to eat and how far away they were, which was very helpful! Thank you Mafalda!

Perfect home for Harry Potter lovers. Everything for perfect! Will go back. The theater is perfect for a family in evenings.

Der Dachhimmel ist der perfekte Ort für eine Auszeit! Zu Fuß ist man direkt im Wald / auf Feldern zum spazieren gehen und Sport machen. Würzburg ist super nah und in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Almut konnte uns viele Tipps für Restaurants und Cafés geben. Es war super ruhig und wir konnten den Garten voll und ganz genießen. Es gibt unzählige Sitzmöglichkeiten und gemütliche Plätze im Grünen. Man fühlt sich wie in einem eigenen Park. Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet, das Bett ist bequem und man wird sehr romantisch von der aufgehenden Sonne geweckt. Es ist alles sauber, gepflegt und sehr schön eingerichtet! Selbst bei einem Regentag wird es durch die Streaming-Accounts nicht langweilig. Die Kirche ist wunderschön ausgebaut, es ist eine sehr besondere und tolle Unterkunft. Matthias und Almut waren jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben viel über die Kirche und die Umgebung durch sie mitbekommen. Es war der perfekte Airbnb Aufenthalt! Vielen Dank! :)

This place is beyond a place to stay is an experience. Bigger than the photos, 4 levels until reaching the top windows with panoramic view of the town. Fairly clean, heating, washer and dryer separately, bathtub with bath salts. The apartment is very special, it is only missing some instructions for the kitchen appliances and lights to enjoy its full potential. This could be an Airbnb plus!

We hebben hier een superleuk weekend met de familie gehad. De toren is ingenieus verbouwd en smaakvol ingericht en het uitzicht van t dakterras is geweldig. Prima bedden, heerlijk geslapen, lekkere douche, keuken met alles wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben! De locatie is ideaal, je loopt zo het centrum in, fijn als je voor een drankje of uit eten gaat want je kunt de auto laten staan. Erg handig dat er 2 parkeerplekken zijn! De watertoren was zeker een unieke ervaring en kan een verblijf hier iedereen aanraden!

Wir hatten wirklich einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Alles war perfekt! Die Unterkunft ist wirklich atemberaubend. Die Lage kann nicht besser sein. Emanuele ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und schnell zu erreichen. Auch Check in und Check out können nicht unkomplizierter verlaufen. Wir können es also jedem aus vollster Überzeugung empfehlen! Sehr gerne wieder!

Wir wurden von Franziska herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns von Anfang an willkommen. Sie war jederzeit hilfsbereit und schnell erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Der Wasserturm liegt wunderschön ruhig und ist ein echter Geheimtipp für alle, die Erholung suchen. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die tolle Aussicht von oben – man kann weit ins Grüne blicken und einfach die Seele baumeln lassen. Der Turm selbst war sehr sauber, ordentlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht. Wir hatten einen wirklich wunderschönen Osterurlaub dort – die Kombination aus Ruhe, Natur und dem besonderen Flair des Turms hat unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet und wer einen Rückzugsort vom stressigen Alltag sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die entspannten Abende vor dem Kamin oder der Blick aus den großen Fenstern sind Gold wert!
