This cute lake cottage is the perfect place to get away and enjoy everything the lake and area has to offer. We watched sunsets, star gazed (saw the Milky Way), enjoyed the boats that were available to use and mainly hung out on the sun porch that had great views of the lake.

Brad and Rose’s lake house is a perfect lake side get away. The location is beautiful and surprisingly convenient for being 30 yards from the border. The house is 20 minutes from Newport and 30 minutes from Jay peak down well maintained road. We spent the week skiing at Jay Peak during a two foot snow storm and were very concerned about being able to access the house since it is down a long drive way that slopes down to the lake. We spoke to Brad and Rose who made special arrangements with their plow guy to clear us a spot at the top of their driveway to guarantee we could get out on the day of the storm. The plow driver also reached out personally to make sure he plowed before we needed to leave. The drive way was plowed three time on the day of the storm and atleast 7 total during our stay. We were able to get in and out no problem even from the bottom of the drive way and the roads to and from the mountain were easily passable with 4 wheel drive (Subaru Outback). Would recommend!

I was looking for a place to watch the leaves change for the month of October and I found it. The pictures do not do this home justice. It is more spacious than I thought and the views are even more spectacular in person. Access to all parts of Lake Willoughby and room for two distinct groups or families with upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and a midlevel with open concept kitchen, living and dining areas and a full bath and washer/dryer. It is COMPLETELY stocked with everything you need for an extended stay. Incredibly peaceful and I hope I am lucky enough to visit again.

The property is beautiful. It has its own private lake access. It is very beautiful and peaceful. Tom was a great host, he had a fire already going for us when we arrived. The house runs off a generator that is very easy to use. The views in the evenings and mornings are something out of a Bob Ross Painting. It is an amazing place and well worth a visit.

We have stayed in this same condo complex before, and we really appreciate the convenient location and the pool/sauna. It’s a great jumping off point for everything in Stowe. Comfy beds. Kitchen has everything you need for food preparation, but it is a bit lacking for full meal cooking. Mud room in front is great for hanging up your damp gear after a day of skiing. Thanks!

This was our second time there and knew what to expect. It was quiet and nice. Didn’t need to reach anyone while we were there. Would definitely stay again.

Everything about our stay was outstanding and as advertised. We made last minute decision to do some Spring skiing at Jay Peak and stayed for three nights at Sherry's cabin. We literally booked the room at about 9pm the night before. Super easy to get into the cabin and Sherry's driving directions were spot on. The cabin was spotless and had all you need to be comfortable. It's about 30 minutes to Jay Peak and 15 minutes from the cool town of Montgomery. A great complimentary touch was a nice bottle of cabernet and a pint of Ben & Jerry's. We would definitely stay at the cain again.

The house was absolutely perfect and had everything you need. The view is gorgeous through the great room windows. We actually had a snow storm while we were there, and thankfully the home has a generator! (Not anything I thought of) so there was no interruption when the power went out on the street. Just a perfect cozy stay for our family. We will be back very soon !!
