Our studio apartment offers a great combination of location and relaxation.This two story apartment is separate from the main house located 1.1 miles south of the Square on Main Street in downtown Franklin. There is a private office space on the first floor. Up a flight of stairs is a private modern bathroom, studio style open floor plan with spacious bedroom with a full bed and a daybed, a fully equipped kitchen and den with ample seating. Off the den is a spacious, private deck with seating.

The cabin easily hosts four guests. The queen size bed is complimented by a sleeper sofa in the living room, which sleeps two as well. It's an intimate space located in a lovely setting. With stunning 20 mile views of the hills of Tennessee plus the surrounding woods, this is the perfect place to rest and disconnect. The cabin was built decades ago by the manager of a famous country music artist. It has played host to country music royalty with the likes of Waylon Jennings, Alan Jackson, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson and many others. These legends spent countless evenings on the church pew on the front porch picking, grinning and drinking moonshine.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION is the most wonderful feature of The Franklin Guest House! The guest house is about a 2 minute walk to Main Street. Our home is next door, and when my children were quite young; they were allowed to go to the shopping/dining area of Franklin by themselves. (Back then you could buy fried rice for 99 cents, plus Gray's Drugstore had penny candy!) Such a sweet place to raise a family! Even though stores have changed, the LOCATION is the same!

For hikers and cyclists, the Parkway provides miles of peaceful, low traffic walking trails and riding options along this scenic route.
