The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!

Our place is close to Clitheroe Town Centre, The River Ribble, The Trough of Bowland and Clitheroe Castle. You’ll love our place, Its home from home, We want you to come back, we have made it as cosy as we can. You will love it.. We also have a cool Record player with classic vinyl to enjoy whilst having a drink. Wifi is free of charge. There is also a sauna that is free of charge. Pets are welcome. We have a nice garden with various seating areas where you can chill and relax.

A peaceful, self‑contained annexe adjoined to an 18th‑century farmhouse, set within a beautiful golf course. Enjoy garden views, woodland wildlife and the tranquillity of the Ribble Valley. A small welcome hamper with breakfast essentials is provided. The station is a 15‑minute stroll, with Manchester, the Dales, Whalley and Clitheroe all easily reached for walks, shops, tea rooms and dining.

The Lodge is our smallest and most secluded hideaway, a cosy and private retreat. Set in its own enclosed garden, it offers a peaceful place to switch off. Inside, there’s a comfortable double bedroom, a modern en-suite, and a compact but well-equipped kitchen. The snug lounge opens onto the private deck and garden, with space for two, plus a dog or small child.
