Highlands Lodge

Highlands Lodge is a magnificent stone and timber chalet nestled amongst 150 year old deciduous English Elm and many other European Trees. It is beautiful year round but particularly in Autumn. Located at Black Mountain (approx. half way between Sydney and Brisbane) in the heart of the beautiful New England Region, it is only 25 minutes north of Armidale and 10 minutes south of Guyra. Set on a working Sheep and Cattle property, Highlands Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

A secluded couples’ retreat on a lush rainforest hilltop, overlooking the tranquil Kalang River—just 5min from vibrant Bellingen. Sink into your private steaming cedar hot tub, unwind in a luxurious king-size bed, and cozy by the wood fireplace in winter or cool off in the sparkling pool in summer. Self-contained mountain top cabin with incredible views over the Bellinger Valley and beyond. The cabin is newly renovated with a kitchen, bathroom and fireplace. It comes with a deck for your private use and uninterrupted views of the breathtaking sunset. We will be on hand for any advice or help but you will be left to enjoy your stay. A short drive from the Dorrigo township and National Park, but otherwise serenely secluded on our 50-acre property. Idyllic farm cabin.
