We had a fantastic time with our kids (ages 9 and 6) and 2-year-old Wolfhound mix! The cottage was easy to find and well-signed. Communication with Judy and Gina was great! The kids were delighted by the cattle and sheep that greeted us on our drive into the property. This is a real farm experience with animals right outside the door. The cabin is beautiful, cosy, and clean, with all the modern amenities you need. Just bring a few meals to cook for your stay. Gina was so friendly and informative as she showed us around! We kept our dog on a leash around the cabin as she was a little too interested in the ducks, but there are plenty of areas where she was able to run and play off leash where she wasn't disturbing the farm animals. The kids loved feeding the farm animals, including feeding the cows, ducks, and sheep by hand. They also loved kayaking (kayaks, paddles, and life jackets all available). Plenty to do and perfect for kids and dogs! We will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful spot where you could watch the sky change all day, just sitting relaxing on the verandah. A great place to bring the kids, as lots of room to ride their bikes and run. Helen was very responsive and answered all my questions. We’ll hopefully be back soon!

I booked my partner a birthday trip at The Drover! It was absolutely worth the drive, beautiful scenery along the way! It’s was peaceful and quiet, a perfect place to relax and unwind. Amanda really went the extra mile to make her feel special with a bottle of wine and wishes for a happy birthday. She thought of everything! We would absolutely return.

Wren Farmhouse far exceeded our expectations. It was very large and comfortable for a family of five - it felt like home. The setting was peaceful and private. Our host was very responsive. I would highly recommend the farmhouse to families and couples. Thank you for a wonderful stay we will be back!

This compact cottage was the perfect overnight stay for us to break up a long road trip. The place was spotlessly clean, with a great shower, and the breakfast items supplied were greatly appreciated!

great to be back to where i worked 55 years ago on sewerage conversion work and my son was born in 1970 at hospital. lived in caravan behind commercial hotel just up the street from rachels cottage when hotel burned down. good to see original plumbing works done at rachels still operational.

Absolutely loved our stay here – 5 stars all the way! The place was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was super convenient, just a short walk or drive to town, but still felt peaceful and private. The pool was such a treat – cool, refreshing, and perfect for a morning dip or relaxing in the afternoon. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated their warm hospitality. One of the unexpected highlights was Plum, their sweet and super friendly dog who lives next door – she totally stole our hearts! Would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Absolutely stunning stay! The property was even more beautiful than the photos—every detail was thoughtfully designed and immaculately clean. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The space was peaceful, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. We felt right at home and didn’t want to leave. Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend!
