This Airbnb is an absolute gem! Homestay is fully equipped, spotless, and well cared! The privacy is unbeatable. With a beautiful garden and no immediate neighbors, we could relax, laugh, and enjoy ourselves without worry. The peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a true retreat. The location is perfect, away from noisy main roads, offering pure tranquility. And the kitchen—wow! Spacious, airy, and perfect for cooking, especially with fresh organic vegetables from the garden and generous neighbors who share their delicious homegrown produce. The garden even has grapefruit and papaya trees, so we enjoyed fresh fruit straight from nature! Finally, the host is beyond amazing—100 out of 10! Incredibly kind, always available, and quick to help with anything. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, and truly special place in Yen Bai, this is it. We’d absolutely stay again. Staying at Van’s place is a very special experience. It is beautiful, remote, rustic and authentic. It is a bit challenging to get to, but well worth it. Perfectly off the beaten path. Van is a wonderful host, we enjoyed dinner with her and seeing her farm. We spent one night, getting there via motorcycle. The road up to the house is challenging to ride, so if you don’t have much experience, highly suggest walking.

Our stay At May’s homestead was wonderful! We experienced such rich hospitality and had all of our needs met! The homestay had everything we needed! We would highly recommend adding in the lunch and dinners to your stay! Such a wonderful experience! The 1/2 day trek, and motorbike tour were phenomenal! It gave you a very up close experience with the stunning landscape all around! May was super helpful in helping us make all our connections to get to her village! If you stay with May, you will get one of the best experiences in Vietnam!

Staying with May and her lovely family was unique, special, and a true privilege. May was not only generous with the food servings (such yummy food!!) but also with her time and patience. She answered my million questions with so much patience and always with a smile. My kids and I enjoyed being her guests immensely and felt immediately very welcome. The surrounding area is so gorgeous and the bungalow itself was very nice and comfortable. We went on a hike in the mountains and bamboo forest, the views were breathtaking and we even stopped at a waterfall and were able to jump in for a swim. The hike was not so easy especially after the rain, but May was attentive and made sure we were okay. At night we had the herbal bath and that too was a lovely experience. We will cherish our time with May, her family and the dogs. Thank you, lovely family!
