Nine of us stayed for a week at this beautiful home for a week of creating musical content (an artists camp of sorts!). It was spacious, clean, and bright. Everything worked! The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The owner and caretaker were both immensely helpful. Jo, the owner and property lister, is an excellent communicator. She answers all questions very quickly and has many local contacts if needed. We felt very welcomed.

The perfect spot like in a postcard; saying that, it is not useless to make another comment, this cottage and the area is simply amazing. All classy and well equipped, remote but not too far, congrats for having been able to achieve such a place in a country still very under developed. The good spirit of airbnb, so refreshing as too many new airbnb place are becoming without any soul.

I had the most wonderful two-night stay at an Gene's place in Livingstone, Zambia, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! This place is an absolute gem—beautifully designed, incredibly homely, and full of charm. The space felt like a warm, inviting home, with thoughtful decor and all the comforts you could need. Every corner was impeccably clean, and the ambiance was so cozy it made relaxing after a day of exploring Livingstone pure bliss. The host, Gene, was an absolute highlight. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive, making me feel right at home. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, offering great local tips and checking in just enough to be helpful without ever being intrusive. Her hospitality truly elevated the experience. The location in Livingstone was ideal, close to key attractions but still peaceful and serene. Whether you're visiting for adventure or relaxation, this Airbnb is a perfect base.

This was a rare find in the Choma area. We loved having the privacy as well as open areas. Gillian and her husband Mike were extremely friendly, as was their dogs :) The help, Ketra and Mildred, were very pleasant and the meals they prepared were extremely delightful. We’ve been to Africa multiple times and in regards to accommodations, this was a great place to stay! Host were very quick to respond and gracious to our request. When we come back, we will definitely plan to stay here again!
