A delight for architecture enthusiasts and art lovers, Bench 170 was a featured venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for several years. This 1971 Airstream has been totally rebuilt into a super comfortable and memorable escape. It's a great couple's vacation, completely private on its own acre of land. There's a separate indoor heated bathroom and shower, plus an outdoor hot water shower and vintage bathtub built for two.

The cottage is accessible just off the Sunshine Coast Highway and is a one hour drive from the Langdale Ferry Terminal. You'll be greeted with a stellar view of the ocean in Bargain Bay and literally steps from the swimmable beach. It's the perfect way to relax and be surrounded by nature.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
