We had a wonderful time in Comporta! Marjolaine’s house was the perfect spot for our group: two families of four plus a set of grandparents. The property is beautifully set up and was a fun place for the kids' Easter egg hunt. We really appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was, plenty of glassware, plates, and everything we needed to enjoy multiple meals at home each day. Comporta itself is a charming little village, and the 3-mile walks through the rice fields to the beach were a highlight. And of course, a trip/mulriple to Gulato for ice cream were a hit with everyone. Highly recommend this home for a relaxing and memorable stay!

What an amazing house and lovely hosts! We came for my birthday and we were so welcome and looked after. The house is amazing - a dream place with cool interiors and lots of space. The kitchen is really well organised, there’s games and balls, and the pool space large for the kids to find space to play. Lisa and Peter helped with lots of questions (sorry about that!) and were caring and dedicated to our happiness during the stay. Couldn’t recommend enough! Very kind and lovely hosts

Encontrámos uma casa maravilhosa, que superou até as nossas expectativas. Muitíssimo bem equipada e decorada, situada num sítio muito tranquilo e acolhedor. É uma casa de família e para famílias. Definitivamente merece uma nova visita!

We loved our stay at Gonçalo's place. Beautiful, tranquil and chic, the space was the perfect hideaway for our vacation in Comporta. Close to all the beaches, restaurants and everything the area has to offer. The large, lofty and airy space is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork, lovely furniture and small touches. The large eating and many sitting areas inside and out offered lots of options to lounge, relax, read a book or nap. Notably, Gonçalo is a cool and interesting guy. He gave us insider recommendations for hidden beaches we would have never discovered on our own. A special treat was Gonçalo's assistant Inês who made our stay incredible. She welcomed us warmly, took care of small requests, offered advice on local restaurants, and even hand picked fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden! Thank you Inês for making us feel at home! Highly recommend staying here if your looking for a chic and designer space in Comporta.

We had a lovely stay here despite dreadful weather! Ed was an amazing host, very fast at replying and great recommendations for restaurants which were all fab. House is in a lovely position and you feel very private once inside, its close to the rice paddy fields and you can walk to the beach which is a bonus. This is a lovely area with a beautiful beach but there is quite a bit of construction going on close by which is a shame. The noise didn't disturb us at all as it was up in the hills. The beach is quite wild but really lovely and has great restaurants & bars to watch the sunset. We wanted to surf but the waves wernt right here for our week but we found an amazing beach down the coast to surf so there are always options if you hire a car. The location of the house is perfect. Just a few KMS to various beaches. The house itself is very well designed with excellent floor plan. Lovely terrace and garden.

Jose was very helpful and pleasant. Information excellent -just make sure you Google map exact location before hand. Accommodation is extremely good, all of the fixtures and furniture were beautifully thought out. Even better than the photos. Very comfortable environment. Unfortunately the wonderful exterior did not receive the use we would have liked due to the weather. Beds and linen excellent, kitchen complete in everything. Great stay , thank you .

The Villa had every amenity that you could wish for including a beautiful garden with loungers and deckchairs to help you soak up the sun .One thing that needs renewing is the towels in the bathrooms Unfortunately we did not have a car but the village is only an eight minute walk away with the stunning beach a further twenty minutes.. A very pleasant place to stay , which we highly recommend.

Je recommande grandement le logement de Pedro. La maison est charmante et très bien équipée. Les hôtes, tant Pedro que son papa, sont extrêmement accueillants et serviables. Tous les matins, ils amènent du pain frais. A l’arrivée il y avait des petits gâteaux faits maison du miel et des bonbons. Et en plus de cela, nous sommes arrivés avec 2 heures de retard à cause de l’avion et comme il était tard et que nous avions faim, la père de Pedro a ramené un Tupperware délicieux de nourriture faire maison. Du service comme on en trouve plus nulle part ! Les alentours sont très verts et très tranquilles; un vrai havre de paix. Je recommande grandement !
