Ferienunterkünfte mit überdachter Terrasse in Amarante

Tivemos uma excelente hospedagem no imóvel da Ana. Casa extremamente limpa e com tudo o que precisar. O jardim da casa é magnífico, muito bem cuidado e reservado. Perfeito para refeições como pequeno almoço. Com certeza voltaremos outras vezes.

Tuve una estancia maravillosa en la casa de Regina. Desde el momento en que llegamos nos sentimos bienvenidos. Las camas eran increíblemente cómodas. La piscina de agua salada fue un verdadero placer, especialmente durante los calurosos días de verano; pasé horas en familia disfrutando. Regina es una anfitriona muy detallista, atenta a cada necesidad de sus huéspedes, lo que hizo que mi estancia fuera aún más agradable. Volveremos seguro.

Great view. Comfortable stay. Helpful host. Convenient coffee shop and grocery. Scenic mountain top village. Very good value.

Paulo's place is extremely modern, clean, spacious with a great bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. Just a pity it was too cold to make use of the pool. It was an added bonus being able to eat in their restaurant downstairs.

Wij hebben echt een hele fijne tijd in het appartement van Paul gehad! Wij raden het 💯 % aan! Ons verblijf was eigenlijk véél te kort & wij willen zeker een keer terug komt. Voor wie een unieke ervaring zoekt buiten het massa toerisme om: hier ben je aan het juiste adres! In Paul’s huis wordt je van harte welkom geheten en voor even is het ook ‘jouw huis’ Een unieke ervaring van het Portugese leven in de Douro vallei. Ook de omgeving is prachtig, de mensen zijn aardig en alles is heel betaalbaar. We hopen ooit eens terug te keren in dit mooie Portugese paradijsje. 🫶

I'll write the review in English so it can reach everyone, as well as some tips for your stay. The apartment was in excellent condition, very well decorated and clean. The TV supports Youtube and Netflix. The hosts are super nice, the area is calm, perfect for night walks. As for my tips: Restaurants in the area are cheap and serve good food. If you plan on going to Stop, a medium dose of beef does feed 2 people for only 10€. Do note that the nearest supermarket is a 30min walk from the apartment, so if you're not bringing a car make sure to stock up on your first day!

This place is beautiful, very clean, the location is great. The building is stone and very old and sturdy. You can walk to a few good restaurants in the neighborhood or walk to the mall and historic downtown. It’s right next to a hospital and is in a high traffic area but the sounds were almost comforting to me. Like white noise. Staying alone, I preferred that to the quote of the countryside. The design of the loft is a thing of beauty, but the stairs would be hard to navigate for the elderly. The only issue I had was during my arrival at night the first day I was there. They provide great visual instructions but the driveway is right after a curve and it’s up a curb. Not like a driveway in the USA. It’s dark and you would not expect to go up a sidewalk curb to enter the driveway. It was not problem once I figured it out but again, at night it was hard to fine.

A Luísa e o Paulo foram anfitriões muito solícitos, responsivos, cuidadosos e simpáticos. A nossa estadia foi longa e sentimo-nos em casa. As fotografias não fazem jus à casa bonita e ao conforto que nela encontramos. Fomos em família e esperamos voltar.

Super accueil, José et sa femme ont été très gentils. La maison est super avec une magnifique vue sur les vignes depuis la piscine. La cuisine extérieure est typique portugaise, on a adorait. Nous recommandons. Merci beaucoup.

I cannot rate this place highly enough. The reception was great, Maria was waiting for me with a smile even though I was an hour late. She let me in and showed me the place, and stayed to light the fire for me. They provided firewood and starters, and came back the next day to ensure it was topped up. The place is GORGEOUS. Even better than the photos actually. It is a wonderful place to escape to and I will certainly be back in the summer! The house is simple inside and had everything you need. The internet barely reaches which makes it a nice getaway from tech, but something to keep in mind. The shower runs cold every now and then and so the water needs to be put on and then off again. The views are perfect and there is a lovely walk to the river. Nearby Amarante is a beautiful city and certainly worth a visit. I did have time to visit the nearby vineyards, but of course it is in the wine country. This is the ideal cabin to escape to, whether for a single or for a couple. Love!

Casa excelente para passar uns dias com a família ou amigos, com ótimas condições para o descanso e convívio. Bom espaço das salas, alpendre fantástico, espaço exterior em volta da piscina que proporcionou uma estadia muito agradável. Quartos e casas de banho espaçosos. Cozinha equipada com o que é preciso. Simpatia e gentileza da Catarina que muito apreciámos, ao longo de toda a estadia. Em resumo, adoramos e certamente voltaremos!

Espaço maravilhoso, muito bem recebidos, óptima comunicação, anfitriões 5 estrelas. Com certeza que vou voltar muitas vezes.

Very quiet, confortable and relaxing place, with great taste interior and exterior decoration and architecture. The kitchen had everything needed for a quick meal preparation, but also all needed for barbecue. We liked everything, and left with our batteries recharged.

Все было идеально! Жилье выглядит даже лучше чем на фото. Очень удобное, продуманное и красивое жилье. Есть все для длительного проживания. Очень комфортная кровать, удобный диван, кухня оснащена всем необходимым и прекрасная терраса. Мы провели здесь месяц и с уверенность могу рекомендовать это жилье. Расположение отличное, это самый центр города и очень тихо. Магазины, продуктовые магазины, бары и рестораны рядом.

Elisabete è stata davvero gentile, l’alloggio è molto carino, all’ultimo piano con un grande terrazzo da cui godersi le giornate di sole. Consigliatissimo a chi è di passaggio ad Amarante!
