Fairview is an absolute gem! This circa 1867 historic home provided the perfect setting for our family Christmas. The charm and character of the house made us feel completely at home, and the accommodations were nothing short of perfect for our entire family. The thoughtful welcome treats and fresh flowers were such a warm and special touch that made us feel instantly at ease. The home was clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to pull off a wonderful Christmas dinner. The kitchen had all the essentials, making it so much easier to prepare and enjoy our meal together. The spectacular mountain views added a peaceful backdrop, and the resident peacock was a delightful surprise, bringing laughs and joy to our grandchildren. If you’re looking for a place that combines history, beauty, and comfort, Fairview is the perfect choice. We’ll cherish the memories we made here and hope to return someday!

The location was convenient, and the host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The farmhouse at Fairview was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect! We had a wonderful long weekend there, enjoying the peacefulness and gorgeous views. Jennifer was the perfect host, responsive, welcoming, and helpful, but also giving us privacy to make us feel like we had our own private country home to get away to. I definitely want to come back! :)

I loved staying here, bed was very comfortable, the air conditioner was crisp and perfect, they had an air purifier going which I appreciate, and everything was very pet friendly and thoughtful. Not to much unnecessary decor or clutter for my dog to get into. I could tell they put a lot of thought and care into the room. They we’re very kind and helpful and had plenty of amenities available. The room was a great price and a great location I will definitely be staying with them again in the future.

The pictures don’t do it justice. Beautifully decorated and clean organized home. It was just what we needed for our family. The lack of a designated parking space was a new and somewhat uncomfortable experience, but we always found a spot close to the house.

Was a beautiful house and even more beautiful Property. The creek was beautiful, lots of area for kids to explore. Very well kept. The only issue we had was we could not find the cute fire pit by the creek the pictures showed. Other than that we had a great time and would highly recommend. Also should be stated to bring plenty of bottles or jugs of water.

This was a perfect location for our extended family visit. Close to University of Lynchburg. Apartment was perfect size for our extended family. Breakfast was delicious. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

We cannot say enough great things about the owners and this beautiful cabin!! If you are thinking about booking, think no more and do it! Not only was it absolutely beautiful on the inside but the area outside of the cabin made us feel like we were in our own sweet world. We saw deer, squirrels, so many birds, it was on the river and it was dreamy. The cabin itself was so fun! To stay in a real log cabin was a bucket list item and it was very pristine. There were wonderfully helpful notes all around to help us out and did I mention it was beautiful?!???

Geri was very nice and met us at the door. It’s a very quiet farmhouse with southern charm and beautiful surroundings - the Mountain View’s are amazing and I had a family of 10 spend the night

This is our second stay and we had a wonderful time! This is a secluded 'off the grid' cabin while also having the comforts of wifi and tv. We went into Lexington and went on a few hikes and had a wonderful time ringing in the new year!

A big apartment with plenty of amenities. It really feels like home. Communication with the host was as smooth as possible. Strong Wi-Fi signal everywhere. A great vacation place. The only issue for some is that it is far from everything, without a car, restaurants, groceries, etc. are in reality out of reach, at least with a small child.

Patricia is such a kind host! Her home is comfortable, there is every amenity you could possibly want from an Airbnb and the proximity to Liberty University makes it a great location! There are grocery stores nearby to if you plan to cook and her kids even left a sticker book with a note for our children to use. You can’t go wrong with this home! Highly recommend.

A wonderful stay! If you’re looking for peace and quiet surrounded by natural beauty, this is the place for you! I stayed after a couple of snowstorms and the scenery with the deer and other wildlife was just stunning. Eric and Elise are very friendly and are available without being intrusive. The place was clean and cozy and the bed very comfortable! I was here over a month and it definitely felt like home - especially with the resident (outdoor) kitty who was a wonderful friendly little visitor! Would love to visit again during Spring bloom! Thanks so much!

lovely little home.e for our short trip. Duke had left us snacks with drinks. Home was cozy with a nice deck to sit out on. Very convenient location, even more so if your really familiar with the area.

Condo was perfect for our week-end stay! Location is convenient and walkable to all that downtown Lynchburg has to offer. Darren and Fran were great communicators...gave us very clear instructions and proactively checked in with us to make sure that our check-in went smoothly.

The place was beautiful, roomy and spacious! Great place to host a family dinner for special event. Cozy and nostalgic. Bill was a gracious host and reached out to us to ensure we had what we needed and even had breakfast items and a snack upon our arrival, which was a nice touch. :)

A comfortable and celebratory stay for our daughter’s graduation. The location was close enough for getting where we needed to be but far enough away from the hustle of graduation weekend. A well appointed home and an extremely well stocked kitchen. We especially enjoyed the screened porch!
