Denise and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay with Lyn. After such a long road trip, we felt right at home and very comfortable there. Lyn has thought of every detail imaginable to make for a perfect stay. The quality of the appliances was top notch and we really appreciated the laundry! We were just looking for a comfortable place to stay and relax for a couple of days. We were amazed at what a charming and beautiful village that Bear River is. From the fantastic Sissiboo Coffee Roaster Cafe, amazing gallery shops, and the stunning Bear River Vineyards. We look forward to returning.

This is a cute little apartment perfect for a couple and located by great places to eat. Amy is truly a super host with attention to details. If you have a scent sensitivity, message her and she’ll accommodate your needs.

An extraordinary stay overlooking the wharf. Nancy has filled the space with creativity and art and his thought of everything to create a memorable experience.

Stayed here for hockey, very close to the rink and all the amenities we needed as a family. Amy was great to deal with, responsive and accommodating. Will stay here again if we are in the area!

We stayed for three nights at this beautiful, almost brandnew home and liked it a lot. Everything was crystal clean, very cozy and quiet at night and day. The kitchen is very well equipped so we were able to prepare nice breakfasts and dinners. The bedroom and bathroom are both very spaceous as is the living room. The host Karina was absolutely friendly and also her dad, who was our neighbor. Karina prepared a very lovely welcome package with some treats – really really kind. Thank you for having us. We would come back anytime.

We had a wonderful stay at Lu's property over the holidays. The home was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed to feel at ease. The location was convenient, and the quiet, welcoming atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Lu was attentive and responsive, ensuring our stay was smooth and stress-free. This property exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others! Thank you so much! You were more than accommodating :)

We felt lucky to find a place so close to the beautiful Kejimkujik National Park!! The yard is huge and beautiful with a lovely walk down to the lake. Comfortable beds, nice hot water, easy to control the temperature in the house. Only negatives; upstairs bathroom only has a tub, kayaks need some work.

Absolutely loved our stay, Sara described the property very well. This home is 150 years old, and is a great piece of history. We enjoyed the fact that it doesn’t have too many modern update’s, just the necessities for comfort. Sara was amazing to deal with very prompt response and easy to communicate with. Our next trip to Nova Scotia we will contact Sara to see if this house is available.

The house was very nice and comfortable. Plenty of space and all amenities were taken care of. I just had to move myself in. The whole area is peaceful and a short drive away to downtown. Laura and Mick were very responsive to any questions I had. This home I would definitely recommend for a future stay.

Our group of six enjoyed the cottage and bunkie. There is a lot of room to spread out and pursue different activities. The deck on the lake is a highlight. There are plenty of board games and comfy seating inside if the weather isn't cooperating. It was warm and cozy when the temperature dropped in early November. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area - Annapolis Royal, Kejimkujik Park, and Digby. The property is in a remote lakeside location in a small cottage community.

Karen's place is like home away from home for our pals' weekends away - well outfitted kitchen with a beautiful site on the Annapolis River across from Annapolis Royal, comfortable lounge and living areas, lots of great books to read and located in a charming little village. Karen is very responsible and is a great host - thanks again, Karen!

Nice old heritage style home rolling up onto the north mountain. Fun amenities for spending time around the house and relatively central for exploring the valley.
