From start to finish our stay at Jacqui and Russel’s place was amazing . This was the perfect choice for a trip to visit our daughter for thanksgiving . With sweeping views of the ocean , perched up above the shore the setting was beautiful . We arrived to a lovely personalized welcome sign and snacks . The home itself is impeccably clean and the pictures on the listing do not give it justice . The gourmet kitchen was well equipped for someone that loves to cook . We had everything we needed from great wifi, Netflix , games and even a hot tub . Communication with the hosts was fantastic . While we didn’t need them , I know any problem that may have come up would have been easily taken care of . We hope to visit in the summer for a longer stay if the opportunity arises .

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect for a kid free weekend with friends! The property was lovely along with the hot tub! Everything we needed was available - hosts were quick to respond and very hospitable! Highly recommend!

Everything you'd ever need is right here in this beautifully laid out and cozy home! Activities for days are all around you, the views are stunning, the neighbours grand. The beds are so comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need to cook a feast. We will be back to enjoy Brent's best Nova Scotian hospitality!

I and 4 other friends stayed at Summit Lodge for 2 nights. We were all so impressed with the craftmanship of the cottage, the cleanliness, simple, yet charming decor and the open interior with beautiful windows overlooking the lake and tree line. Immediately after booking, Brent sent helpful messages with clear instructions and guidance for our stay. The hot tub was perfect for five and the changing lights added some fun to its use in the evenings. We immediately started discussing a second trip in the warmer months to hopefully take advantage of that beautiful lake, kayaks and fire pit. I highly recommend these cottages, having previously stayed at another of the properties a year prior, Homesteader Lodge, which was equally beautiful. Thanks!

the house was wonderful. the host was responsive and accommodating the area was beautiful one suggestion would be to get the dishwasher serviced as it did not clean the dishes and some of those were not clean in the cupboard. also, no toaster available. I would definitely return but in the summer in order to take advantage of all of the area.

We had a great stay here. very peaceful location and all the amenities you'd need for a short stay.

Great little place for a great price. It had everything we needed and was nice and clean. Sunset was spectacular. Would definitely recommend for a great "glamping" experience.

My daughter and I came to Antigonish, for two nights, to visit StFX. We were unsure of where to stay. After reading through other's reviews of Kathryn's and Johns spot, we booked. And I am so happy we did! I have stayed in many Airbnbs and I don't think I have ever been in one that was as thoughtfully and thoroughly appointed as theirs. It was just perfect! Clean, cozy, and warm. It was a little bit out of the town centre, but Kathryn and John had coffee and tea available for us, and milk and cream in the fridge! A carefully stocked kitchen to make making small meals easy. A well lit washroom with extras of all the basics. They made our stay so pleasant! The spot is right on Antagonish harbor with beautiful late afternoon sun and sunset views. And a 30 minute walk to beautiful secluded beaches. If you are coming to Antigonish, I don't think you'll find a better spot. We hope to be back!
