Great location and host is very accommodating.

Nice walkable place with a lot of convenience store, drug store and restaurants nearby. Easy access from Ikebukuro station, a round 8-10mins walk. The only downside is the unit is at third floor, a bit hard for big luggages, but still acceptable. Overall, Worth the price!

We loved our stay at Akiko’s, it matched the description, everything was as described. A short walk to three stations, and we loved being able to get to Shinjuku and Shibuya from the smaller stations. Easy walk to Ueno and Asakusa which we loved. Nice to head back to somewhere quiet after a busy day. Was great to have a small kitchen and also washing machine. Would definitely recommend Akiko’s place.

Beihoa's place was fantastic. The location is close to the Yamanote line, but not so close that it is noisy or crowded. There are lots of places to eat, grocery stores and 7-11s(3) in the neighborhood. We also found a Don Quiote near by...which we went to at 2 am thanks to jet lag. Beihao was very quick to respond and offered suggestions if we needed help. The Yamanote line is very easy to navigate and I strongly suggest a Pasmo or Suica card. The condo is located very close to Shinjuku and Shibuya...super fun places to visit. The condo is clean, full of light and big by Japanese standards. I would definitely return here!! Thank you Beihoa for helping to make our visit amazing!!! My son and I fell in love with Japan!❤️

Good for the price. Room is quite small but thats what u mostly get in Tokyo so understandable. Clean and easy to access

Eric's place was exactly as described. We knew that the kitchen was not fully equipped which suited us as we intended to avail ourselves of the kombini or restaurants. Early risers in need of coffee may want to bring their own portable brewing devices. There is an electric kettle. McDonald's closeby opens at 7, or there is bottled coffee available at the kombini (Lawson's for example) which can be microwaved. We used the delivery service Wolt, too. The laundry facilities are on the balcony outside the apartment and there is no dryer. Clothes dried very quickly when hung up. The neighborhood is residential and quiet, offering to foreigners perhaps a more authentic experience of Japan. Those travelers with heavy luggage should know that there are two flights of steep stairs. Either write down the address for taxi drivers or learn to say the address in Japanese. Thanks, Eric.

Great place to stay. Super convenient right next to the subway and train station. The place was very roomy and comfortable.

Billy’s lovely Airbnb was just perfect. Great location; loved the neighborhood. Very peaceful, tucked away from the hustle and bustle; but just a few minutes walk to the Hatagaya train station and all of Tokyo accessible. My favorite time in Tokyo was wandering through the nearby neighborhoods. Loved Sunday Bake Shop and Paddler’s Coffee; both just a short walk away. Two markets with everything you could ever need seconds (Lawson) to one minute away (larger grocery store with great produce and fresh sushi). Billy was the perfect host- so communicative; we had zero issues the whole trip. The space is very clean and comfortable; really great shower. Thank you Billy for hosting us. Can’t wait to come back to Tokyo!

This is our second time staying at Tomoki-Sans place and as usual, it was an amazing stay. Tomoki went above and beyond to help me and my mom, he even offered to pick us up from the airport, the first time any Airbnb host has went out of their way to do that. This is the perfect spot- 2 minute walk from Meguro station, access to Meguro River (came during cherry blossom season and it was blooming!), and many supermarkets & convenience stories nearby. The place is clean and equipped with washer and dryer, kitchen, and dining/workspace. Beds are comfortable for two people. This is our go-to spot in Tokyo and I highly recommend to book this spot if you see it available! Thank you Tomoki, will see you next year! :)

This place was a charm! Everything was brand new (some fixtures even had its original plastic on it). Lots of cute little decorative knick knacks that made us feel at home. Just a little difficult to find but this was typical of all the quaint AirBnB places we rented in Japan and not an issue unique to this one. The address/GPS led the taxi driver to a property behind this one instead, so we had to search on foot though we found it quickly thanks to the host's detailed instructions and pictures. Everything was squeaky clean and complete. There were plenty of extras like laundry pods and washing net with the washer, extra toothbrushes, Q-tips, all toiletries we could possibly need. They even provided a stroller and high chair for our baby. The host went out of their way to even help us with arranging the shuttle to the airport, even though they didn't have to. Super attentive hosts with great attention to detail! My kids didn't want to leave the place, which speaks volumes. :)

Akira-san is very helpful host! He gave us a lot recommendations, like a place to eat and where to find a cheaper souvenirs! His place is clean and already furnished. Thank you a lot, Akira-san!

PROS: - Very clean and looks exactly as described in photos. It's bright and cozy with minimal clutter. - Surprisingly spacious! As a group of 2, we were able to easily fit and open our luggage (2 check-ins and 2 carry-ons) without any issues with space or walking around. - Beds were comfortable to sleep on and it wasn't noisy - The coat hanger was a nice touch; made it easy to hang and grab stuff as needed. - Good water pressure - Nearest station was about a 2-3 min walk away; FamiMa about 2-3 minutes; walking distance to Asakusa - Host is very responsive CONS: - Although there is an elevator to get to the room, you have to climb up to the 2nd floor to access the elevator - No conditioner, but not a big deal since you can buy some at the nearby FamiMa. Just a heads up though. OVERALL: - We would 100% stay here again whenever we decide to return to this area of Tokyo. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

The apartment was perfect for my friend and I. Plenty of space and even privacy because we slid the tea room doors shut to create two rooms. Once I figured out the shower, it was amazing. Hot water. Great water pressure. Clean. AC for warm nights. The location was great for us. Close to the train stations so we could go to busy places like Shibuya and then come back to a nice quiet neighborhood. Across the street is a market area with delicious homemade food for a great price. 7-11 and a 24-hr market very close. Also, a breakfast place. Nice walk to the river. Lovely, quiet area. I would stay there again.

Our family had a wonderful stay over New Year's in this very spacious and comfortable house. If, like me, you're reading all of the reviews before confirming your booking, let me quickly tell you: the other reviews are accurate; the home is spacious, clean and comfortable; the location is fantastic; and the host is proactive and responsive. My family really enjoyed our stay. The host, Akiko-san, was proactive and responsive. She messaged us to make sure we got settled. We asked if it was possible to get the water in the shower a little hotter, and within a few hours, on New Year's Eve no less, a gentleman came and fixed the issue for us. The house was a great environment for our 8-month-old baby. The kitchen is well-stocked; it was easy to prepare food for my baby, as well as breakfast for the rest of the group. The location is ideal. I could write so many more positive things, but don't have enough space. Highly recommend for your next family trip.

The Airbnb was right in the middle of shinjuku , 5 min walk from the Godzilla head and 10 min walk from the main shinjuku station. The Airbnb was clean and exactly as the pictures. Really good value as you don’t get a lot of space in hotel rooms in Japan and this apartment was very spacious. Check in and out was very easy! Thanks again for having us!

I love this place. It’s in a quieter neighbourhood and the room is sizeable especially for the standards in Japan. Only thing is if you don’t like the noise coming from upstairs as the walls are a bit too thin, choose the top floor. But it’s only accessible by stairs. Train station is closed by, convenient.

Fantastic unit in the heart of Shibuya. Super easy check in / check out process, modern and safe building, spacious for Tokyo and Hank is extremely responsive and helpful. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
