My partner and I stayed for a week in Jess’s apartment, whilst I surfed and remote worked from the UK and close to my partners home in Oistins. Jess’s cosy apartment was just what we were looking for, private, quiet, comfortable and with lots of outside living space. The breeze blows through all the open shutters making it nice and cool and we enjoyed dinners in the garden and afternoon naps in the hammock. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from Freights Bay to surf and 20 minute walk to Miami Beach and Oistins for the shops and places to eat. Jess was the highlight of the trip giving us loads of great recommendations and an all round great host and person. We will definitely be keeping in touch and saying again!

Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

Great place overall! The unit itself is roomy, recent and clean. The location couldn’t be better; on The Gap, but not right in the bars section so it was quiet at night but you just had to walk 5 minutes to get to the action. Great host and his co-hosts were great as well. My wife and I really enjoyed our time and will be looking to come back with our daughters!

We enjoyed the stay at Leslee Ann’s. The beds were comfy and the area quiet. The space was clean and well appointed. The washer and dryer were clutch. We rented a car and it was a great location in a quieter section of the island but always felt safe. We would recommend to anyone.

This is a perfect place to stay , zeema and Paul were very helpful and really nice people , the location is walking distance from Dover beach literally 10 steps , many restaurants walkable around the area , st Lawrence is walking distance as well where the bar areas are and more food it’s about a 10 min walk I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again . Paul was even nice to offer me a couple rides when he was free but I was unfortunately on the beach ! Would stay here again ! And definitely worth the money

Chris was a great host, very welcoming and responsive throughout our stay and was kind enough to accommodate our request on the last day. Place is exactly as per the photos, clean+had all the necessary items to make it a comfortable stay. We loved the fact that, although we were six adults, the space never felt small — loved the 2 bathrooms, and 2 separate showers + each room had a little en-suite vibe (working sink + mirror). The patio was spacious: the best hangout spot. Beautiful stretch of beach: very peaceful. Beach chairs were useful but very old, and some broken. The only downside of our stay, was that the six of us got eaten alive by the amount of mosquitoes/sand flies/no see-ums (not quite sure what it was) but in my 12 years of coming to Barbados (always around the same time) never had so many bites. No mosquito nets in the home. Reco: Highly recommend using mosquito repellent to avoid the pain. Overall would recommend this space for a great stay!

Lovely accommodation in a great location for St Lawrence Gap. Becky was brilliant with information and communication. Would definitely recommend and look to book again in the future!

Once again we've had an amazing stay hosted by David & Diana - for two weeks across both Sweetwater and St James's Bay Apartment 2. Sweetwater was new to us this time and did not disappoint - with two families staying very happily alongside each other - plenty of 'together space' as well as zones for times when separate spaces needed whether for kids and adults, or for families. The pool was a wonderful aspect for all too after ocean time was done. Chris and Jackie nearby were such warm and responsive hosts too - with fantastic recommendations that we found to be authentic and true to experiencing true Barbados, a dear island which we all have had experience of over the decades since the 1970's. So thank you David, Diana, Chris and Jackie - we can't recommend Sweetwater more highly and really hope we can return again soon.

The Sandgate Beach House was absolutely beautiful!!! The pictures and description were extremely accurate. As a group of six, we had plenty of room both inside and out. The patio/terrace allowed us to spend 95% of our time outside. It was such a pleasure to wake up and be right on the beach. Can't say enough about this house. We hope to return next year!!

Phillip and Tina met us personally on arrival. And they were very responsive on whats App with one or two little questions we had during our stay. The complex itself is not completely quiet (compared to a remote all inclusive type place) due to being close to a main arterial road, but it seems to quiet down considerably after 11pm. It's very easy to get around, using the inexpensive local taxis/busses ("La Cucaracha!). There are a handful of restaurants very close by, a small variety store across the street plus the gas station next door for any essentials. The variety store has beer, rum and a few wines on hand, plus some amazing homemade baked goods, and a selection of a few grocery essentials. We enjoyed our stay as we were looking to try something different than an all inclusive type vacay. Great work Phillip and Tina. Thanks!

I stayed with seven of my students and my colleague and it was perfect. We loved walking to the reef to do marine biology, going on the roof to star gaze and do math lessons, and the pool for the kids to unwind. I loved that the doors locked automatically so I didn’t have to worry about the kids each needing a key or forgetting to lock the doors. There was an area for us to gather as a group and the kitchen was large so more than one person could cook. Highly recommended

I have stayed in one of the other apartments Charmaine manages on Enterprise Road beach before and wrote a review last year, so as a repeat customer I obviously endorse staying here. Charmaine was again helpful and friendly. One word of caution on this particular bungalow in the house complex is that animals such as dogs and roosters nearby may make quite a bit of noise overnight and there's really no soundproofing against it but earplugs for a light sleeper. Other apartments in the group are better soundproofed on that. I would also say this bungalow is good for individuals or couples, but it is essentially a studio and probably not practical compared to the other apartments Charmaine manages in the group for a family. Staying on this beach near Oistins is likely all I'll ever do if I come back to Barbados.

What a perfect place to relax and feel right at home. All the pictures are just what you see. Very well appointed condo with everything you need - especially the amazing view, really nice pools, and so close to so many restaurants of all kinds. The Gap gives you everything to enjoy a fabulous Barbados trip. Ray was so fast and complete with suggestions and helpful hints, plus right on with restaurants - go to Primo Bar & Bistro you won’t be disappointed - same with Cocktail Kitchen; Bliss for breakfast is a must - all these in walking distance. WiFi in the unit was great, cool A/C, comfy beds…did I mention the view!! What a treat to have coffee in the morning on the balcony watching the day start to unfold and listen to the waves so close. Ray’s condo has everything we wanted! Tony, mgr there, was at our door making sure we had everything within 20 minutes walking into this lovely condo. We’ll be back and tell all our friends too. Thanks, Ray!

This was an excellent place to stay and was exactly as the photos. Ian was always responsive if you had any questions. Love the electric door lock ( no keys to worry about). It was also in a good location with good neighbours and a large shopping mall 3mins walk away. Would definitely recommend this place and Ian as a host. Thank you for a great two weeks stay👍

There were 12 of us and we had a fabulous time! Everything was very well described. We suggested AC be put into the dining room and living room as it was extremely hot and we like to stay in most nites and play games, cards, etc. #5 stars all around! Location is great in terms of amenities- Rubis just opposite; next to local bus stop; short walks to either mullins beach & the great house beach at the other end. Speightstown is only a short bus ride away, with the lovely PRC bakery, The Caboose and Heywood beach which were all great. The property itself was spacious and as described- we especially appreciated the large back patio- have most of our meals overlooking the beautiful sea view & sunsets! Equally we really appreciated the amenities Ana has to offer- the washing machine & dryer; the floaties, life jackets and snorkelling gear etc. I’m going to put a few things here which I think might be helpful We are a small family- mum, dad and toddler (3): - The traffic outside is REALLY loud- often late eve. Large vehicles drive by- whole house shakes- v busy road/watch child! - very rocky at the base of the back steps- we didn’t swim directly from here - no AC in the main living space- so hot! -pick up app- unreliable in location

What an absolute wonderful stay here. Andrew and Trudy were the best hosts. Greeted us when we arrived and would check in with us throughout our stay in case we were in need of anything but they really think of everything. The room is exactly as pictured, very clean with lots of space for our belongings.The location here is what just makes it 10/10. Right across from the beach were you can rent loungers and umbrellas right from the tiki bar.lots of food options just walking distance. The pool is such a nice area, lots of seating/loungers and exactly what we needed when we wanted to change it up from the beach. We would absolutely come back here if we ever come to Barbados again. Thank you so much for making our first stay on the island one we will always remember

This is an excellent place to stay on the west coast of the island, exactly as described. The view is outstanding with the beach at your doorstep. The apartment is very nice, comfortable beds, nice living room, fully equipped kitchen. Lots of recent upgrades! Easy access to the bus to get to places along the coast. Lots of nice outdoor spaces, with sofas and a table, all under a shelter. The barbecue is great to have as well and a grocery store just across the street. The beach out front is rocky so would recommend some water shoes. The hosts answered all our questions and helped us get a taxi back to the airport. You should have no hesitation to stay here!

Our stay at Villa 403 was absolutely wonderful. From the communication before we arrived with Sandy, the warm welcome and early check-in with Dawn we were made to feel very welcome. VotB is ideally located, beaches are stunning and quiet during our stay. The pool and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. We loved the local restaurants; check out Zacchio's next door, and the 'Life is Sweet' Dessert bar across the road. Activities available to book from Holetown beach if you want them; we enjoyed a boat trip with snorkelling stops where we swam with turtles & stingray. The vendors are not pushy and we felt very safe and welcomed by them. Of course, the highlight of our sty was Coral! the listing does not make it clear that Villa 403 has the most marvellous housekeeper, Coral, who will make your stay magical! nothing was too much trouble for her- she washed our laundry (which smelled amazing!),shopped & cooked amazing Bajan food. We loved our stay and would rebook without question

We loved our stay. Janet is a super host and always responds to messages. The apartment is much nicer and bigger than the photos show. Although the pool area isn’t that big, the beach and view and stunning. We would highly recommend the apartment and it’s nice and secure.

Love the location, active beach w/- local vibe. Claudia took great care of us. Quieter area of the island w/- the fun vibe of Speightstown close walking distance. Good mix of restaurants & other more casual food offerings.
