Mahipal Ji and Aniket are managing a nice place. The stay is private, full of amenities, and walkable from Shri Raja Ram Mandir. The caretakers of the property were always proactively responsive. I recommend this property for the travellers looking for private and compact stay in Orcha. It’s a well fit property for a nuclear family and group of small friends. I appreciate the efforts of Aniket and Rajendra for maintaining our comfort and necessities throughout the stay.

Chandera Kothi is right on the Betwa River, on the edge of Orchha. It offers serene, high-quality accommodation. Made from pressed earth and mudbrick and using reclaimed materials - with a focus on sustainability - CK is surrounded by crops and greenery. A genuinely boutique property, the 4 rooms are spacious with good ensuite wetroom, and gorgeously decorated by a combination of new and period furniture and decoration. There was good wifi. Rooms are accessed up 10-ish stairs - so CK would not be for those with mobility issues. The food was something special - local dishes, prepared on site and served outside in good weather or in a charming mubrick pavilion. We went vegetarian and there was a generous array of options. Breakfast was included, but other meals are available for reasonable prices. In addition to the 2 staff who looked after us, Madhur was a helpful, kind and interesting host - our thanks. This place has something special that sets it apart. Absolutely recommended.

Deepak ji and his brother took extra care to help us reach their place even though we were running late to reach there. They were constantly communicating to make sure we reach there safely. Very very helpful and caring person.

I have just one word for Vandnaji's homestay - perfect! 1. It is walkable from every attraction in Orchha 2. She went over and above to assist and ensured that I was always taken care of 3. Truly embodies the spirit of "atithi devo bhava" (guest is equal to God) 4. She is always available to answer all queries 5. Her food! Homely and delicious! Yummmm! The room is spacious enough for two or a family of 3 with a small kid. The bed is super comfortable and the pillows are soft. The table and chair is comfortable for working. The best part? Piping hot water 24x7! She opened up her kitchen and provided some essentials so I could make my stuff. The home is super clean and she ensured my room was cleaned daily too. She even provided complimentary breakfast daily. Words fall short for the wonderful service provided by her. I felt like staying with my own family and will recommend this homestay to everyone. This is hands-down the best homestay in Orchha that you can ask for.

The place is nice , clean , well decorated. The kitchen is very well maintained and has all basic amenities like cooktop,tea,coffee,daal chawal , water purifier, refrigerator,pots and silverwares , in totality the kitchen is more than equipped to handle all that you can need.The washroom is clean , spotless.This host makes you feel very warm and is always there for support.The stay is very comfortable and very well maintained. The only issue is parking, it's a road side parking and the location is hard to travel to with a car ,you need to be very skilled at driving to reach the spot.

The place is peaceful, amongst the rural setup. the accommodation is tastefully built, well maintained. The host is very friendly and responsive. Food provided was homely, tasty and finger licking good. Overall, a beautiful experience.
