First Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Great location (very quiet), clean, everything you could need and very homely. Janice was a great host and all instructions were clear. Great holiday, good value for money and would definitely recommend. Melanie.

The property is as described easy to find with parking in the drive. Corner Shop nearby. You can see the Holy Isle at the end of the road overlooking the golf course. It had everything we needed during our visit to see family. It is lovely and cosy. Our granddaughter loved all the little birds in the back garden. Highly recommend.

This house was in a great location for walking to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in Morpeth. It was also close to beaches and beautiful countryside. The property was very clean and tidy with its own garden and private parking which was ideal for our stay.

Amazing central location - but quiet - for exploring Alnwick. The property was a privilege to stay in, lots of historical character and immaculately presented by Jenny. Would definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity.

La maison est très agréable. L'environnement est calme. En moins d'un quart d'heure de marche on est au port et au centre ville. Supermarché à moins de 5 minutes en voiture. Beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir aux alentours.

We had a lovely time at Middle Cottage, everything was as described and we felt very comfortable. Only downside the local pub was shut ! Hardly Dee and Charles fault. Thank you

What a wonderful stay we had at Jane’s place!! We were in Northumberland for a wedding just down the road, and we booked this place for convenience as it was so close. Little did we know, it was a holiday destination in itself. The surrounding gardens and views are amazing, and so peaceful. The cottage was beautiful, and much bigger than we expected it to be. Jane was a great host. Always responded quickly to my messages before and during our stay. And even when we arrived late after 10pm, she came out with a torch to meet us as we were a bit lost in the dark. She kindly brought us some milk as we were desperate for a cup of tea and didn’t have chance to stop at the shop. It was a shame that we hadn’t booked to stay for longer as we could have very easily had a few more days there and enjoyed a bit of a mini break. I would highly recommend and may be booking again for another stay soon.

An outstanding location with the best views. Andy and Lyd were really nice and very helpful. The apartment felt homely, comfortable and warm. Ideal to return to after a long hike. Highly recommend. We plan to return.

Booked Sammy’s place originally for my parents but unfortunately due to ill-health there were unable to make the journey up from Manchester however, I was delighted when my sister said that she was available. Sammy’s place is a hidden gem. I personally live in Hexham and cannot recommend Ian & Susan’s beautiful Accommodation any stronger than this, ‘Quite simply, the best accommodation in Hexham’. The location is perfect to get around the town, especially if you have difficulty walking as it is literally situated a stones through from the high street. There is plenty to do in Hexham being spoilt for choice when it comes to local Independant shops, a theatre, cinema, multiple pubs, bars and restaurants as well as the gorgeous Sele Park and surrounding area. Sammy’s place is a great place to stay with everything you need to feel completely at home; love this place and Susan & Ian are the perfect hosts. Thank you for making my sisters visit to Hexham a memorable one, Warm Regards

We had an excellent couple of days! The flat was wonderful - so spacious, warm and homely feeling, extremely comfortable and a joy to come home to after a long day working at the Art Fair. Can't wait to come back! Was absolutely ideal and a perfect haven for two weary artists. Thank you Rachel!

Linda’s flat was ideally located for our stay, only 15 minutes walk to the Freeman Hospital and five mins to the Metro. Parking in the area was easy, too, which helped. Linda was lovely and couldn’t be more helpful during our stay.

Great location, great apartment, really comfortable and a lovely place to stay in a fantastic town. Parking spot and the lovely big living room with views over the town a big bonus too.

Neil was very friendly and responsive to our questions. We’re American and always struggle with learning how to turn on the showers and appliances while in Europe. It is very close to the train tracks which we used multiple times during our stay. It is in a quiet neighborhood. I do feel the location is a bit hidden, but once you know how to get there, it’s easy. His place was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing host. Joan communicated quickly and clearly. The loft was spotlessly clean. We arrived late and Joan had switched on lights, left us fresh milk and shortbread and the loft was warm and welcoming. Everything we could have possibly needed was there - everything. I even spotted pretty flower vases stored neatly on top of a cupboard. Incredible. The location is perfect for A1 and the stunning coast. Café downstairs was fab. Pubs up the road were ideally placed. Bed linen and towels were fab, beds were comfy and shower was lovely. We are hoping to return. Thank you, Joan.

Our family of 4 adults stayed for 4 nights in this quaint flat in a beautiful part of the world. Haydon Bridge is excellent for access to Hadrians Wall, Vindolanda and the broader Northumberland region. Car parking at the flat was simple, close and free. Tom was a generous host providing sausages, bacon, eggs, bread, butter etc, which put the “breakfast” back into ‘BnB’ (something which is sadly lacking in corporate AirBnBs). Tom also provided an early check-in and a late check out - again, this is where family-run AirBnBs really are so much better than those in management chains. We would have no hesitation in staying here in the future.

We LOVED staying here! It’s a beautiful home (even bigger than it looks in the pictures) next to a great local pub and surrounded by gorgeous countryside. Adrian was super helpful, consistently going above and beyond to ensure we had a fab stay. 10/10!

We stayed here with our two young children for two nights, and we had a great time. A nice, peaceful site, which helped us to relax. The lodge had everything we needed and we would definitely return. Great location within easy reach of the castles and beaches.

The place was absolutely stunning. We were awestruck by the gorgeous interior. Visitors can expect a fantastic time staying in the accommodation. However, having a vehicle to travel is a must. There is parking available. Indoor heating (radiators) is provided in every room and common areas. Fireplace was used during our stay in the winter season. The host is very responsive and friendly. While the location provided is accurate. The drive up to the accommodation can erroneous as google map did not consider the closures at Forest Drive. Hence, it will be good to check with the host properly.
