Welcome to your home away from Home, located on the outskirts of Altoona, right off of i99. We are a 12 min Drive to both Upmc Altoona and Penn state Altoona. Also an easy 30 min Drive to PSU state College! We are located on a private lane, and altho there are other houses in close proximity, we are a quiet neighborhood! Bald Eagle Bungalow

The Bungalow is a roomy, nicely renovated space easily accessed from rts 80/99. Only 25 min to State College & Altoona. Queen bed in the bedroom. One sofa in the living room converts to a king bed (see photos). A twin mattress is stored in the bedroom can be placed in the living room for an additional person. Walk in shower in bathroom. Full kitchen with electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, pod coffee maker. Dining room with access to a small deck. Fully functional outhouse see pics.

Log Cabin

The primary bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the secondary bedroom includes a full-size bed. The living area is equipped with a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space, and the loft adds two twin mattresses for additional accommodations, ideal for kids. The cabin’s kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including an oven and refrigerator and microwave. Whether you're enjoying time indoors or exploring the outdoors, this cabin offers the perfect balance of comfort and adventure.

Trail Town Suite-45 min to PSU-on MidState Trail

Enjoy small town life! Includes breakfast at a local favorite coffeehouse! Very close to the Rails to Trails trailhead that is loved by cycling and hiking enthusiasts. Kayaks on property for river use only. 45min. from Penn State, Beaver Stadium, and the Bryce Jordan Center. A short, but beautiful drive to Raystown Lake or Canoe Creek State Park. Close to the Altoona Curve baseball stadium as well as “Horseshoe Curve” and the railroaders museum. Drive to nearby shopping and restaurants.

"Lost Eden" Raystown Lake, mountain views, hot tub

Get "lost" to nature in this luxury house for two, located a 5 minute drive from Shy Beaver boat launch. Atop a meandering mountain road, this unique chalet has treetop views, a 30-foot-high living room, and a open bedroom with a king bed. Lots of natural light filters in from skylights and windows. A spiral staircase adjoins both decks. The lower level has a relaxing hot tub with a privacy wall and patio furniture. A cable railing incloses the deck for an unobstructed view of nature.

Comfort and Convenience

We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home. It's the perfect cozy and welcoming space to rest and relax whether traveling for work, visiting family, or exploring the beautiful surrounding area.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Originally built as a carriage house in 1820 along with the adjoining stone home and a second stone building originally used as an out kitchen. This rustic cottage has been tastefully modernized and has a queen sized bed, full size refrigerator/freezer, gas range, large screen TV, heat pump that supplies air conditioning and heat, hot water shower
