We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The care and attention to the renovation of this historic house is clear everywhere. Beautifully and comfortably equipped, the interiors are such a joy, we adored this house and would recommend to anyone looking for modern amenities in a characterful historic setting. Comfortable beds, beautiful linens, well stocked kitchen, wonderful views and a scenic location less than an hour outside Bergen and looking out over the quaint harbour, this was a really relaxing cosy location to spend Christmas. Would love to visit in summer too. Highly recommended.

This was a lovely Norwegian home. We had plenty if space and it was easily walkable to every place we wanted to go. The neighborhood was so cute! Ingvild was very responsive to all of my questions! Highly recommend!

The house is an absolute gem if you like Scandinavian design. Right in the middle of the old town, it is very tastefully furnished and amazingly spacious, easily accessible and everything important is within walking distance. Downstairs bedroom has a little side room for storing clothes, upstairs bedroom is without shelves or hangers and also open to the living room one floor down. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen has all the basic things you need for cooking, also oil, salt, pepper. I loved the Nespresso machine/ milk foamer with plenty different original coffee blends to choose from. Beware that normal 3,5% milk in Norway is called "helmelk". Couldn't find a cork screw, so if you want to drink wine, you should bring your own. Stairs up to the first floor are narrow and VERY steep, I wouldn't recommend the house for elderly people or with small children. Everything was spotlessly clean. The host are lovely and helpful. I had a wonderful time!

Logement idéalement situé à seulement 5 minutes de la ligne 1 du tramway. Stationnement facile à proximité immédiate. Il dispose de deux chambres, dont une suite parentale à l’étage, ainsi qu’un bureau parfaitement équipé. Le salon est accueillant et chaleureux, et la cuisine entièrement équipée pour un séjour confortable. L’hôte est très réactif. Je recommande vivement !

Ida and Torstein are amazing hosts. They showed us the area, shared the history of the place and recommended beautiful hikes around. The house is charming and has plenty of genuine details, which made us curious about the place we had a pleasure to stay in. One can find everything what is needed in the house: kitchen equipment, stunning view from windows, cozy fireplace and positive vibes of slowing down 🥰 The place is definitely highly recommended! Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans la maison d'Arve ! La maison est spacieuse, calme et confortable, l'environnement est magnifique. N'hésitez pas à prendre le ferry pour vous rendre à Bergen, c'est plus simple qu'en voiture !

God kommunikasjon og kjappe svar fra vert Truls. Alt som trengs finnes i hjemmet. Veldig god på kjappe svar via Airbnb og god info levert fra han på meldinger til oss som leier hans private hjem. Lett adkomst og biloppstillingsplass. Fint område rundt. En Coop butikk i gangavstand for handel. Vi kunne nok leid av Truls igjen.

Really enjoyed our stay at Marius’s place. It’s all you need and in a very local neighbourhood, that’s close to the harbour. Marius is responsive and the place is very comfortable. We loved the local area, it was a great stay.

It’s a really great accommodation with everything so comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies are more than expected and more than enough. High quality bedding and towels. The location is close to everything. Thanks Wenche for providing guests such a home like place to enjoy visiting Bergen.

Appartamento molto carino e curato. Ottima posizione, in zona tranquilla ma vicino a un mini market e ai mezzi pubblici per raggiungere sia il centro che l'aeroporto. Host gentilissimo nel fornire info per i parcheggi in zona. Super consigliato!!

Wir hatten aufgrund eines annullierten Fluges leider nur eine Nacht, aber wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Viktor Andreas kam uns super mit dem Check-in entgegen. Vielen Dank für deine nette Einweisung in die Wohnung. Alles ist sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es ist unglaublich nah am Hafen und man hat für alles eine super Ausgangslage. Ich kann diese Wohnung bedenkenlos empfehlen.

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

Amazing find! This place is absolutely magical— even better than the pictures! Being right on a fjord was a unique experience. The location is convenient, just a short ride to the heart of Bergen. Although our stay was brief, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend this cozy accommodation to anyone seeking a memorable getaway!

Great Host who is extremely flexible and responds quickly. The location is a bit of a walk from Bergen Center but close enough. Large open common area with three separate rooms makes this a great place for traveling groups.

This house exceeded all expectations — it’s everything you could hope for in an Airbnb and more. Spacious, warm, and incredibly comfortable, it’s set in a stunning location surrounded by nature. Linda Sofie is extremely thoughtful and makes everything easy with clear, simple instructions. The house is full of amenities that make the stay even more enjoyable. We had an incredible stay in this beautiful home with breathtaking views of Bergen and the surrounding mountains. Waking up to the sight of the city and fjords was a highlight of our trip. The location was perfect, close enough to explore Bergen easily yet in a peaceful spot where we could relax and take in the scenery. The large windows and outdoor space allowed us to fully appreciate the stunning panoramic views, especially at sunset. The home was spotless with cozy furnishings and all the amenities we needed. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything for a perfect stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bergen, staying here made our trip even more special and we would love to return.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus von Hilde. Die Lage direkt am Fjord ist sehr schön. Das Haus war für uns mit 10 Personen absolut ausreichend groß. Alles war sehr sauber und schön. Das Boot, das zusätzlich gemietet werden kann, ist einfach aber in sehr gutem Zustand und hat einen 20 PS-Motor. Als Angler kann ich sagen: Der Fjord ist ein absolut hervorragendes Gewässer für Makrele und Seelachs. Hilde hat uns zusätzlich tolle Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Danke!

We had a fantastic stay in Ivar’s home! A lovely home with spectacular views across the lake. There is a regular bus into Bergen and lots to do in this beautiful city.
