Melanie’s cabin was tucked away behind the main shopping strip in Cowes, only a few steps from the Red Jet ferry terminal. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay, we were only sorry it was the wrong time of year to enjoy the sun deck.

Pretty little barn and just as described , we loved our 3 night stay and perfectly located for trips to Windsor, London and Legoland

We’ve just returned from 2 nights here and we’re very sad to be leaving! The pod has everything you need for a comfortable stay and has clearly been well thought out. The spot is very private and incredibly peaceful. The huge secure garden / field was absolutely perfect for our dog - she loved it. Lots of lovely footpaths nearby to explore too. Can’t wait to return!

Amber was very friendly and respected our privacy her cabin in the woods had everything we needed for us and our dog lovely and clean. absolutely beautiful place to stay the walks were amazing! we will definitely be coming back. thankyou Amber Dan Sebi Fred and Barkley 😊

Lovely stay at Joe's - beautiful view from the hut and great walks on the doorstep. Joe was very helpful, from giving clear directions to local recommendations (we enjoyed trips to The Abergavanney and The Juggs pubs which are both a short walk away). The sauna was a great addition and Joe had thought of everything in terms of making the hut cosy and providing breakfast. Highly recommended for a relaxing long weekend!

5 stars all round. Highly recommended. This was a great place to stay. An easy walk from the train station (<10 min). In the centre of Charlbury, only minutes from nice pubs, restaurants and the local co-op, but still very peaceful and quiet. In a lovely garden with own outside deck and table. Bright and airy. Spacious enough for two. Good shower. Comfortable king bed with crisp linen. Cozy and comfortable sitting room. Charlbury is a beautiful town with easy train and bus links to London, Oxford, Woodstock (Blenheim), etc. And gorgeous surrounding countryside with great walks. Martin and Helena were generous friendly hosts. We really appreciated a late check out so that we could enjoy a leisurely countryside walk on our last morning. Many thanks!

The hut and the tub was exactly what we were looking for. We will be recommending it to friends and family and had the most wonderful weekend!

What a beautiful cabin/shepherds hut and location. I booked a solo weekend getaway and travelled by train from London, getting a taxi from Woking. All easy. Hosts came to say hello and were super friendly and welcoming. I went on a couple of nice walks but could have easily hung around the cabin all weekend. Perfect for solo getaway or as a couple. Had the most amazing weekend, cabin was delightful and very cosy, Hot Tub was great. Great walks as practically on top of the Ridgeway. Richard was a great host, I would highly recommend to stay, great getaway for piece, relaxation, with great walks & beautiful scenery. Thanks Rich for a great stay 🙂

Emily's place is well equipped, well positioned and nicely decorated. The bedroom is light and airy. We very much appreciated the prosecco and milk left for us in the fridge. It was a shame we only had time to stay one night - it's a great spot!

A perfect pod in a perfect setting, it was exactly what we were after for a few nights stay. Beautiful setting and well equipped pod, the tree hammock swings were a firm favourite with my 5 year old - as was the ‘massive tv that we can watch in bed’! Thanks Kirsty, we’ll definitely be back.

Me and my partner stayed here for a few nights and had the best little break away! Private with beautiful views and very peaceful. The bathroom/ kitchen were pristine and fully functioning. Comfy bed, lots of room. And the hot tub of course was a lovely addition that was well kept. We will definitely be back :)

I live locally and booked the shepherd's hut for my parents for a night. They were absolutely delighted with the stay - it's extremely comfortable, well appointed and spacious. They commented that the shower was fantastic, and there are loads of thoughtful touches all around the cabin as you explore. Thanks again, Mandy and Martin - I'm sure they'll be back!

We had a lovely stay at Louise’s charming shepherd’s hut. It was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic - just a short walk to beautiful Avon Beach and literally couldn’t be closer to amenities. Louise was a welcoming and helpful host, making everything super easy. The hut is right next to a road, so if you’re a light sleeper, that might be something to consider - but otherwise, I couldn’t fault it. A perfect spot for a getaway with the sea close by!

Second time we’ve stayed at this property and once again we were very warmly greeted and shown inside. The accommodation is always spotless and is the perfect base for exploring the local area. Bathroom and kitchen had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. 100% recommend!!

peaceful retreat with beautiful views and very helpful host

I absolutely LOVED this place, immediately regretted not booking another night & I’ve already booked another stay! After walking in the Downs, and along the River Ouse, I had a lovely afternoon exploring the quirky shops, the Flea Market, and a good few pubs in Lewes! Feeling happy-tired after all the walking (& a hefty pub lunch), I arrived at Michelle’s & found myself in utter peaceful bliss - the perfect place to relax & unwind. Loving it so, I quickly abandoned all plans of walking to The Five Bells. Instead, I got the enormous firepit ablaze & spent the rest of my night warming myself in front of the flames, with a bottle of Fizz, simply enjoying the sound of the bleeting sheep. With plenty of wood provided to burn well into the wee hours, I later found myself being serenaded by a hooting owl. Heaven! I eventually dragged myself to the comfiest bed imaginable & had the best night’s sleep. As if things couldn’t get better, I awoke on Easter Sunday to my very own lambs!! Perfection!

Had a wonderful night stay in Jo’s hut, it was peaceful, comfortable and had everything I needed. Beautiful views and was great to sit outside and listen to the birds, will 100% be back, thanks!

Bluebell shepherds’ hut was lovely. Exactly like the photos with a great outdoor space. Perfect for glamping and enjoying the outdoors with comfort. Maddy the cocker spaniel was a highlight! There were a lot of walking paths nearby and you could quickly feel like you were fully in nature. We were initially wary of the outdoor shower but there was plenty of hot water, privacy and it was easy to use.

Beautiful scenery, lovely clean, spacious cabin. Both my partner and I really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend to couples!

Our visit to Moreton was made all the more memorable and special by how unique and perfect our stay in Ruth's shepherds huts was, staying here was the perfect combination of everything we wanted out of a weekend away rolled up into a very well presented and produced package that catered for pretty much every all we could of hoped and asked for, it was truly a pleasure to stop the two nights we had and found it such a relaxing and enjoyable experience to have the privacy and peace of the huts and the surrounding garden to unwind in and bask in the tranquility of it all, Ruth was a superb host and was very friendly and helpful along with always being on hand to assist with any potential issues so I would highly this place as somewhere you can't afford to miss out on if you are visiting this area.

Where to even start. This place is beautiful, clean, peaceful, quirky, tranquil and romantic. We fell in love with our stay here and just kept saying ‘this is amazing’. We used all of the facilities. The cabin was clean, comfortable and light. The double shower was perfect. The hot tube we used in the day, the evening and early morning. It was stunning laying in the hot tub, hearing the wildlife and not hearing g anything else! I felt so relaxed. At night we sat outside with the fires on and all we could hear were the lambs and the crackles of the fire. We used the pizza oven and it was very easy to use. They supplied tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc but you need to take your own toiletries. We only booked one night and I wished I had booked two, I even text Ralph to see if I could extend the booking while sat in front of the fire but it was fully booked. Not a problem as I have rebooked to go back in July for 2 nights this time and I can’t wait. The communication, spot on!

The place is absolutely stunning and really peaceful. Alice was very accommodating about everything and we had a great time. The hot tub is amazing and yes it does take time to heat up, but when you’re surrounded by such a beatific scenery you don’t mind waiting whilst you soak it all up. I would highly recommend it!
