The Hobbit House

The Hobbit House is a tiny house (15x11'); Full size bed, futon/couch, outdoor tub, shower, electric fireplace, patio, picnic table, fire ring, and outhouse with composting toilet. The patio overlooks a pond and is part of a 53 acre forested property in the Blue Ridge. WiFi is now included. Glamp in style! The main lodge is just up the driveway if you need to contact the host. The outdoor shower/tub is NOT fully enclosed or private, and may be turned off in a freeze. Nature lovers only!

Cottage on the New is a vacation home in Todd, NC with the New River running right in the front yard! ***NOTE: our private bridge sustained damage from Hurricane Helene and we are still waiting for it to be replaced. It looks bad, but is still usable. *** The outdoors is your playground with skiing, biking, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing at your fingertips. If relaxing is your style, simply enjoy the view of the river valley from the hot tub, hammock or rocking chairs.

Enjoy the sun coming over the mountain while you sip on a hot coffee while sitting on our fully covered front porch. The cottage is only minutes from the towns of Jefferson and West Jefferson with a view of Mt. Jefferson (4665 ft) in front of the cottage and Phoenix Mtn to the rear of the cottage. Although you are so close to all the fun, you are secluded with no neighbors in view.
