We had a lovely stay at Kay’s property. Exactly as described, spotlessly clean with kind and thoughtful extras such as a cold bottle of fizz and some beers in the fridge, as well as bread, eggs and fresh milk for breakfast. We were recommended to eat at the Hampton Inn, a short walk from the property along the beach. The food and service there was excellent - highly recommended! The outside shower was fabulous - powerful and hot and I confess to luxuriating in it for far longer than the showers I take at home. Just bliss. The property is an easy three mile walk along the sea front into Whitstable in one direction (under an hour) and around fifteen minutes to the pier in Herne Bay in the other. A great central location but also very easy striking distance by car if you want to investigate further afield. We loved our stay and look forward to returning ☺️ Thank you Kay 🙏🏼

Property is ideally situated and very close walking distance to town centre. Property was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. The information sheet provided all working details for the property amenities and some excellent restaurant recommendations.

We loved our stay at Sandy Toes! It’s a fantastic property with three generous double bedrooms, one with an ensuite and balcony, one with a terrace and its own living space, and one next to the main bathroom. A very well equipped kitchen with a lovely balcony that catches the sun in the afternoons and you can see the sunset over the neighbouring properties. Just a few minutes walk to the dunes and main beach, and a few minutes more to the dog friendly beach from 1 May to 30 September. A well equipped store with beach chairs, buckets and spades and even sledges for the dunes. We did a circular walk to Rye, gladly taking Lisa’s recommendation for Sunday Lunch at the Globe Inn, just a few minutes walk from Rye with its beautiful shops. We also did a circular walk to the nature reserve, stopping for tea and cake in the Discovery Centre. Lisa was an excellent host, with proactive communication, highlighting local events and recommendations for pubs and restaurants. We hope to come back!

Maison exceptionnelle, accueillante et très bien équipée ! Terrasse coup de cœur. On y était pour un week-end encore copines, nous avons toutes étaient emballées. Comme lu sur d'autres commentaires, la maison / terrasse sont encore mieux que sur les photos. Stephane a été très réactif pour l'organisation de l'arrivée et du départ et c'est vraiment adapté à nos demandes, un grand merci !

We primarily chose Slip Cottage for its location and private parking, as we know parking in Whitstable can be difficult. The cottage was just minutes from the sea front and surrounded by nice Independent shops and galleries. There were so many places to eat that we only used the very well equipped kitchen to make cups of coffee! The location is down a private lane, not a through road so very quiet. The neighbours were very friendly. Although only a double, the main bed had a really good mattress and was very comfortable. All the furnishings were good quality, with twin beds in the second bedroom. With two full bathrooms there was a choice of shower or bath, plus a downstairs loo as well! Stephen was a great host offering lots of advice about favourite places to eat. He also kindly texted once the cottage was ready so that we could go in earlier than the published arrival time. All in all a great find which we would happily return to.

The perfect location, walkable to town and to Dover Castle. Most places were closed due to Easter and the following day which was also a holiday so that was challenging. There were 6 of us staying, more ideal for 4 people. The noise from the road below didn’t bother us at all. I would recommend using a “noise machine” if staying in the primary bedroom, but the bed was really comfortable and we got great sleep. Ideal place to walk to all the restaurants once they did open. Rain was very accommodating and responded very quickly to any questions I had.

Sheila’s house feels like a home the moment you step inside. It’s roomy and bright throughout. We all loved the place including the young grandchildren who spent ages in the garden amusing themselves. The kitchen is packed with masses of everything you could think of and as we cook this was brilliant. As all the adults have stressful busy lives this break was so relaxing, just what was needed. As a birder I highly recommend Pegwell reserve for a great walk and great birdwatching. Highly recommended.

It’s a really clean caravan, looks exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed, it was a great base to be able to visit family nearby. Communication was great as well. We will be booking again next time we are down.

Very nice villa in the center of Wissant ; 5 min walking to go to the beach , the villa has a huge pool with a very nice terrace and a sauna to enjoy the weather ; loads of beds and rooms and plenty of games , the villa is ideal for families ; we had a family reunion with a group of 9 people and we enjoyed every minute , plus the host is super welcoming !

Great house for our family holiday - lots of space, comfortable and amazing views! Lots to do in the surrounding area too - enjoyable walks into Herne Bay and Reculver a highlight for us. Maggie was responsive and helpful throughout.

A wonderful venue for a family get together. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished in Art Deco style. The position and views were amazing, and the heated pool was the icing on the cake! Thank you to Alan and Bill for letting us share your beautiful house, and for being so helpful with all our questions!

The accommodation was so lovely home from home .very spacious and nice outside private decking to chill .the location was great 👍 .sandra was very quick to message back any inquiries we had.thankyou sandra for the goodies that you left very much appreciated and a nice touch.would definitly recommend sandras place .lou & family.

We had a comfortable stay as a family with 2 children. Location is great with many facilities on site and also good to explore the beautiful surroundings. The accommodation was very clean, equipped with children accessories and very comfy beds. We will definitely like to go back in summer if possible. Thanks Kimberly!

What an incredible location! We loved the sea views and being able to walk into Herne bay for an ice cream so easily. You had everything we needed and were so helpful if we ran into any problems. Don’t miss visiting this gem if you get the chance!

We’ve just returned from a couple of days in Broadstairs and stayed at the Hideaway. Sally is a great host and the Hideaway is located perfectly for the beach, coastal walks, restaurants, ice cream parlours, amusements and mini golf. We took the dog on long beach walks and found Broadstairs to be very relaxed and friendly. The Hideaway is perfect for a mini break and is very comfortable and clean. We loved it and will be back another time. Thank you for letting us use your lovely home 😊

We had a lovely stay at Kate’s place! A great location for a family get together near the beach. There are lovely cafes & deli’s within walking distance in Sandgate. And the location was also great for exploring Folkestone & the local area. A fab spacious home, we would stay again! Thanks Kate as well for helping with the heating & being really responsive with messages, it really made a difference :)

This was a fantastic stay at a wonderful modern flat that overlooks a quieter bay and beach on the nicer side of Margate nearer to the royal esplanade. The area feels well kept and safe. The place was spotlessly clean thanks to the brilliant check in guys, who even let us in earlier than check in and let us leave items in the fridge ahead of the formal check in time. The instructions for the flat were clear and entirely fair given this may not just be used as a rental but also for the host to use or live in themselves. The benefit of this dynamic is that the flat is beautiful and extremely well equipped especially in the kitchen. As a keen cook, I was very happy to see I had what I needed to make anything I wanted, all utensils you’d expect to have at home! His handbook had good recommendations, it’s near fantastic fish restaurants Angela’s and Sargossa which in my view are just visits for any foodie Top guy, top flat, great location - overall marvellous margs See you again soon!

Cute little chalet with wonderful views of the sea. Comfortable, clean and cost, just perfect for a break away to explore the local area. With Whitstable, Faversham and Canterbury a short driving distance this was a great base.

We've been doing self-catering for decades and this is now top of our list. Our welcome package was a generous and thoughtful assortment of seasonal goodies, catering for both adults and little ones. We didn't venture far from the house as the children were more than happy with the beach at the front and the large back garden; the icing on the cake was hearing the toot toot of the little steam train and running to the end of the garden to wave as it chugged past. Jo was so flexible with arrival and departure times. That extra couple of hours on the final day meant we could end our holiday with a lie-in and a leisurely family breakfast, rather than the usual frantic rush. The house is tastefully furnished and well stocked with children's toys. It's very dog -friendly too, with treats, blankets and a safe garden for a runaround. I would highly recommend the Beach House.

Liz and Barry’s house was amazing! Everything was perfect. Excellent location just by the sea- first line house with nice terrace. Because of the lovely weather we spent most of the day outside tanning and enjoying breathtaking view. Quite area for good relaxation. House very clean, well maintained. Nice interior design. Beds very comfortable ( we had a very good night sleep), good shower. Liz and Barry very friendly. Thank you Barry for lighting a fire in wood burning stove for us , we had a lovely evening watching sunset and playing table games with my parents. Four of us saying thank you! We would definitely recommend this house. Janet was a great host, always responsive, and we really appreciated the early check-in and the provisions in the fridge. The house felt like home straight away and had everything we needed. It was lovely to be right opposite the beach. We really liked Hythe and the surrounding area and will definitely come back.
