5 acres of lawns, gardens, and meadows and a gentle rocky beach on Blue Hill's Salt Pond, a protected inlet of the Atlantic Ocean. The house faces south towards the water and overlooks a gorgeous blueberry field that turns a majestic shade of deep red in the fall. Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape.

This vintage cozy cottage in Surry sits right between Blue Hill Village and Ellsworth making it easy to plan your visit. Enjoy the Blue Hill Peninsula and Acadia National Park with hiking, beaches, boating and more. Just under an hour to Acadia. Ten minute drive to the beautiful cove beach on Newberry Neck Rd also makes for a wonderful bike ride. Walkable to the town boat launch allows for easy boating/kayak access or a nice evening stroll.

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
