I had a wonderful stay at LaceyVilla! The place was very cozy and beautifully decorated. My room was clean and the bed was super comfy, so I slept really well. the living area was great for relaxing. I loved the outdoor space too—perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning. The location was very quiet and peaceful . Cindy was friendly and was very helpful. I highly recommend LaceyVilla! This was our 4th stay at Rockgirt and as usual it was perfect. The house is exactly as pictured in the listing. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are spotless. There is plenty of space for our large crew to relax. Mary Beth is a fantastic host and is always friendly, helpful, and responsive. Check-in and check-out instructions are clear and concise. The place is fully equipped with everything we need for our party of eleven. If anything additional is required such as paper products or light bulbs, Mary Beth is just a quick text away. I can't express how much we all love our yearly outing at Rockgirt. Thank you Mary Beth! We look forward to visiting again in the Fall.

We absolutely loved our stay here. There was fresh snow on the ground so it was a breathtaking view from the hot tub! Very peaceful place to get away! Good setup for family with kids!

The pictures do not do this place any justice! My husband and I had such a wonderful time. It is perfect for so many occasions, whether you’re looking for a little family trip or a romantic getaway. The beauty from the pond to the high Mountain views is unmatched. The place was stocked with so many things, it felt right at home. Unfortunately, the weather was raining and windy for most of our trip or else I would’ve loved to also use the firepit. We are already thinking of booking this place again and this time, for longer! Serene, blissful, and homely.

An awesome find! We loved visiting and will visit again on another vacation. The place was clean and neat. The beds are very comfortable. The view was stunning and the privacy was exactly what we were looking for. We saw deer, plenty of fish and some turkeys and squirrels hanging around. The place was so peaceful and relaxing. Mandy was an excellent host and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The cupboards were stocked with snacks and plenty of essentials. Pickleball in the driveway was a fun bonus that we had not considered. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, this is the place to be. Looking forward to another visit.

Quiet and peaceful. Clean and comfortable. A few miles outside the pleasant and friendly town of Canton. Noises? Mourning doves and crows. Cows lowing in the distance, along with occasional dog barks. If you are paying attention, several times per day you can hear a car pass by on the road 1/4 mile away. Occasional mouse noises in the walls or in the kitchen (until we trapped one). Caveats (not an issue for us but might be for you, and not mentioned on the webpage): - We had no cell service at the cottage. - A "no alcohol" rule is posted on the refrigerator and in the house guidebook in the entryway.

We had a nice time, thanks for everything! People need to know they are in the mountains of PA. Nature means N A T U R E, you never know what you might run into. I love exploring, and all the creatures that go with it. I would only warn of one thing, if the weather is calling for rain... it will be muddy. If you are taking your dog, you must prepare for that. The bigger the dog the more mud. We brought a fence and made a little area for potty, where there was no mud. It froze the night before we left, we loaded up the car with zero mud issues. . . (did I mention the mud was the in/around the driveway?). It is a small quaint cabin in the woods which was very peaceful. You will only have 4g roaming & it will be slower than you are used to. Some carriers won't have much service at all. If you go to Rome PA. you will find No One has service there. Seriously! The nearby towns are adorable with plenty of places to eat. Great find, lovely treat left for us and some for the fur kids too.

This was our second visit to Eddie’s yurt for our anniversary! His place is so private and tranquil in the hot tub is such a nice feature. we enjoy disconnecting and being in nature!
