This used to be the house of my paternal grandmother bought after her death by my maternal grandmother to me, her only granddaughter. What was once an inhabited village back in the days where used to live the workers of the wine, olive oil, almond & CP, gave place nowadays to a peaceful & empty place. Now, if you want to get to know a genuine Quinta do Douro, located in a place of unique beauty and tranquility, where you will be welcomed by those who put their hands (and feet) in the production of wine, we will do our best to provide you with a beautiful stay. We are in the Upper Douro, bathed by the river. We have this small independent house - the Casa do Losango - and also three rooms in the main house.

Bungalow with double bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, living room with sofa bed, wood burning stove and private balcony. Set on a gentle slope overlooking meadows and oak woodland. It has a parking lot and garden, and access to the accommodation is on foot, via stairs. Although breakfast is not served, a welcome basket is delivered upon arrival with bread, butter, homemade jam, honey and yogurts (or a vegan alternative, if requested in advance).
