This was a fun & relaxing vacation for us, our kids and the grandkids. We really never left the place except to take the boat out. The kids and grandkids had a blast in the water and the shallow water was perfect for the young ones - they especially liked the water trampoline! The house is very spacious so we never felt crowded and my daughter was able to ‘work from home’ there utilizing the desk upstairs and the picnic table on the deck one day. The kitchen offered us everything we needed for food preparation so we didn’t have to go out to eat. We would recommend Karen’s place to others.

Gorgeous lakeside view, friendly neighbors and fish that didn't stop biting even after dark. A quiet and relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Couldn't stay off the dock, unless it was time to eat on the deck :) Enjoyed every minute of our stay!

I can’t even find the words to describe this gorgeous, well-equipped, and tranquil home. It is absolutely stunning both inside and out, with multiple sitting areas, lots to do, ample space, and an extraordinary host. This was our first stay here, and we are already planning two return visits next year. All ten of us felt relaxed and pampered. The best!!!!!

We had a great time here! Very cozy, friendly neighbors, and a lot of options for entertainment. Perfect location, and a beautiful area.

We traveled downstate for a wrestling tournament for our 2 sons. We wanted a place to relax and away from the city for our time off of wrestling. This place was perfect! It was so peaceful being right on the lake and had such a beautiful view from the back patio. Although it's March in Michigan, we were still able to enioy the outdoor amenities. The sun was shining and we took advantage of it. We went kayaking, played corn hole and played the axe game. The house was stocked with lots of board games and everything we needed in the kitchen. We'd definitely recommend this house to others. Plus, Jim was so easy to talk to and very informative and helpful!

This please was beautiful! It fit our whole big group. The rooms were spacious. The bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen had everything needed for a big group as well. The views on the deck were beautiful to watch the sunset over the lake. Our host was so responsive and friendly. Overall, a great place to stay!

Dan’s cottage by the lake is a warm, welcoming spot with a spacious home and squeaky clean to boot. We especially enjoyed the sunroom that overlooks the canal. Top notch communication from check-in through check-out. Great place to stay!

My partner and I stayed here a couple nights and overall very much enjoyed the space. Inside the apartment was clean and updated. We did have trouble getting in (the code didn't work) but they were there within 10 minutes to help. The heat also wasn't working (stayed about 63 degrees in there) but again they did everything they could to help and we eventually found a space heater on the last day while we were packing up. We didn't love the overhead shower but that was a personal preference. If you are like me and don't wash your hair every day, bring a shower cap. Even with these few kinks I would stay there again because it was clean and they were extremely communicative and did what they could to make us happy and feel comfortable! Also great view of the pond outside the window.

Very peaceful area!

This was my second time staying here, we had a different unit which was just as good as the first. The place is clean, has everything you need and more.

Great hosts. I had a little confusion on which place was the one I rented and I accidentally knocked on the door to their house. They were extremely friendly in showing me to the correct location. The space is a nice, quiet place on Hamilton Lake. If you are looking for an affordable place to rent for a weekend away to do lake activities, this is a great space.

I mean, what can I say other than what a perfect place for our families. We rented all three apartments. The huge yard with swingset:slide/sandbox/ so many bikes to ride. Great pier, raft for the kids to play on. Great swimming area..sandy. Our two year old great grandson cried when it was time to leave!😥 Great firepit area. Mandy communicated very well.

The most friendly hosts! The home is so clean, which is always important to our family. We visited in the Summer and it was nice to walk into a cool air conditioned home at the end of our day. We loved having dedicated parking spaces for 2 cars. There were lots of little extras in the home in case you leave something behind...like soap! The neighborhood is perfection, like a movie. Friendly and kind neighborhood. There is a ~3 mile loop around a stunning lake. Cars drive slowly as there are so many walkers, runners, bikers. Just truly wonderful. There was a coffee pot and a tea kettle, so many teas to choose from! The host not only provided canoes, kayaks and life vests, but she carried the canoe into the water! Honestly, these hosts go way beyond just being helpful. The beds were comfy, the fridge was clean, so many fresh towels. I hate that I have a character limit because I have so much to say. The price for this stay is more than reasonable. I would give more stars if I could

Absolute fantastic little cottage for a little get away.

Our time with friends at Sam and Christine’s was perfect! Peaceful and quiet which made for the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Spent hours floating on the very clear lake in the sunshine, visiting on the deck, kayaking, fishing and sitting around the fire pit while watching some of the most amazing sunsets. The house was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. Sam and Christine’s will defiantly be our choice next year for our annual getaway with friends!

They went out of their way! We stepped in and we were decorated for Christmas. It was so sweet! They had any amenity you could think to need and the home was beautiful. The host was quick to attend to the only issue we had and she made sure it was resolved within the day. We frequently stay in the area and we will definitely check this place first from now on.

Kelly was amazing to work with and always responded in a timely manner. The house from the front may look small but was quite spacious and had good size bedrooms and several bathrooms. I would 100% recommend it for any family trip, girls/guys trip or whatever your needs might be.

Beautiful sunsets in the evenings! The house was perfect! No issues at all! Phillip was great at communicating! The neighbors were so friendly!!

Josh's lakehouse cottage in Coldwater was awesome. So peaceful and quiet. and neighbors were nice. would definitely stay again.
